8-Bit Dungeon!

Wouldn't it be fun for sentimentality sake if Square Enix added a dungeon or guildhest where when you enter it, your light party (and the entire game) transposed into an 8 bit environment like Final Fantasies 1, 2 or 3? The party would become 8 bit sprites and the fight turn based just like in the old games? I think that would be hilarious! and fun!

I don't know if it could work...that is why I posted this here to see what you guys think!

Didn't they do something similar in GW2? I heard people enjoyed that. And seeing how it could work out, I think that would be a pretty fun idea. I support this!

I'm down. I said to my FC that I wished there was a zone/region that had random encounters (like when they pop out of purple smoke in story quests or whatever), and it would have to be HARD fights too, so you couldn't even traverse the land without a party haha.

They did do this in GW2 so go pick up a copy of GW2 when they add it again.

Would definitely add flavour to the game.

The loots should be 8-bit too, when you wear them outside dungeon.
