Tank vote kick abuse.

Hello,

I've noticed a large influx of tanks that when they don't get their way in an instance will go afk and force the group to vote kick them. All the while they state how their queues are almost instant and berate the group for being bad. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed.

My proposed idea is that the more said person gets dismissed, they will start to get hit with a wait period until they can sign up again. Of course it would need some sort of balance, but I'm tired of seeing these people and they honestly make me want to quit altogether with their blatant abuse of other people and the system that should HELP.

IMO, they should add a timer for when you are kicked. Maybe not the full 30 minute duration, but 15 minutes would be good. People can argue about it being abused and being unfairly kicked from a group, but I would venture a guess that most of the time when you are kicked, it is for good reason.

Maybe a scaling system for subsequent kicks throughout the day, something like:
First kick - no punishment
Second kick - 10 minutes
Third kick - 30 minutes
Fourth kick - 1 hour
Fifth kick - 3 hours
etc

I usually stay with the tank talking with the other people. If he dont want to take the 30mins penalty for leaving mid run because w/e reason he can have the 1hr and a half penalty of the rest of the dungeon timer.

Seems like a terrible oversight to not have some kind of penalty associated with the kick, even if it's something like 15 mins.

Just tell him you're going to wait until the very last boss to kick him. There is no 8 man dungeon that needs 2 tanks anyway.

The complaints in this thread apply to coil? Being that all coil is preformed and there's no penalty for leaving a bad coil group I was addressing the OP in context.
