Well if we're going that far, I'll come right out and blatantly ask for some shiny purple Ascian-Chrysalis crystals.
And a Lahabrea portrait.
Could we, please please, be given access to or be able to craft, the WINEPORT WINERY furniture? I love the motif – the dark wood and the dark red colors with the white stone. Since the furniture is already in the game, how difficult is it to give the players access to it? To include the bar, the fireplace with the cubbyholes, the table and barrel chairs, the stools, the floor, the half-barrel with the shelves, and, of course, the 3-tier wire hanging basket for the kitchen! I know we can craft/purchase other round tables but they are not exactly the same and we can craft the Cask Rack (make it dyeable, please) and craft the Riviera Wall Shelf. It would be great to have access to the rest of the furniture in the Winery. Kudos to the developer who designed this place! It is one of the most beautiful and classy in the game to me and I would love to decorate a house or apartment with this design! It would be so nice to have this additional fireplace choice, too.
How about a picture frame for a portrait of player characters? Don't let us upload screenshots, you know what that leads to. That's why we can't have nice things. Maybe it just uses our forum avatars/lodestone snapshots but with selectable backgrounds?
I feel like this is good enough to have its own thread.
Additional uses for the workshop door.
Indoor arboretum/greenhouse for gardening. Same functions as currently, just a more elaborate set up for it.
Chocobo stable. All the same functions as the current one, just bigger and more elaborate looking. My chocobo has been through hell and back with me, he deserves a place to rest thats more than a rickety roof outside in the rain and wind. Let him come inside where its warm and comfy.
To me, both of these things are very functional, plain items in the yard. They could both use a makeover and there's not much reason for them to stay in the yard. I mostly see these as additional features instead of replacements, if only so nobody is forced to get rid of their existing items.
I'm sure something similar has been mentioned before.
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools and diving boards. I'd also love for a full size swimming pool that could be attached via the same door as the workshop (add a door for a personal house). That would give us additional space for a large feature like a swimming pool without taking up an entire floor or section of garden.
Also for those of us with houses on the waterfront, I'd love to be able to build a diving board out into the water for some cliff diving...or maybe a permanent area for it on the "public" land.
I would love some fountains indoor and outdoor!
the Leviathan fountain outdoor is nice and all but I want something else, also for indoor use
something like this :

1. Make dyes actually dye everything the same color rather than 50 shades of....brown based on the base color of the item. I'd love for all my wooden furniture to have the same color wood.
Likewise with the upholstery on said furniture. Manor stuff, I'm looking at you. If it's locked to dying, unlock it.
2. Allow us to grow special trees/bushes etc to use as home decoration. If the Eastern Cherry Tree weren't already in the cash shop that would be my prime wish to grow.
3. Allow us to choose a) usable or b) decorative when making or placing food in our homes. I don't really fancy the idea of folks being able to just walk into my place and eat the (sometimes expensive) decoration until it's gone.
4. Make a craftable small natural stone waterfall to go with the ponds.
5. From personal experience: Please, please, please, please store all room/house decoration item data with the character's data. It didn't hurt to lose my house nearly as much as it did to lose all the decorations I worked so hard to make, collect, or pay large amounts of gil for. Hell, I even paid for extra retainers to hold the stuff when decorating the original house. I'd gladly keep them to hold the decorations until a new house comes available at a price I can afford.
