Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

I feel like the mailboxes, gardens, chocobo stalls, npc vendors, retainers, and miniature aetherytes should not count towards our item limits. These are basic functions of housing after all. If you have a small house and put just those items in your yard say goodbye to 1/4 of your item allotment. Also can we have different designs for those items (retainers are of course not counted in this) like we do walls and fences like primal mailboxes, single or triple chocobo stalls, and allagan aetherytes?

Being able to design your own wall art (portraits) utilizing screen shots. I would like to have some of my favorite locations and in game people hanging on my wall instead of npcs. Perhaps an in game pictograph machine. This is defintely something I could see as an optional service money maker.

Perhaps offer 3/4/5,custom portrait slots per house size with an option to increase with optional services (I would pay for this )

If this isn't an option then perhaps hold a screen shot contest every patch cycle with a specific theme. The winner having their screen capture converted to an in game portrait available via esoterics or something. The current wall art is lacking.

For the love of Hydaelyn, can we get an option to remove the post (or is it beam?) in our house/chamber please? Too many times have the post (or beam) came across me and my designs.

Also, on top of the ever requested "chameleon" partition, I'd love to request again for half and double length partitions for more design freedom.

Couple more request:
1. Half partition that extend downwards from the ceiling, so we can duplicate this:


2. Some sort of "floating" square tile/plank (wall mount) that is nearly half the thickness of the partitions. Image included below to illustrate the idea:


As you can probably guess, it will need to be far away from the wall such that tabletop/wall lamps wouldn't clip into it.

3. Fourth interior option to change the ceiling. Even dyeing solid color would be fine.

4. A grid UI (Similar to the HUD layout one) overlay on the floor for more precise arrangement.

5. Ability to lock X/Y axis (so it only move in one direction) of the furniture, so we can line things up perfectly.

I really do like the light in Alexander (except in A7). Would be nice to have this in my house.

You know what would be nice? Dyable wooden letters in Eorzean script. Think of all the potential for Indoor (or outdoor) signs!

Sorry if it has been asked but for us healers, could we have an healing dummy? I wouldn't have to ask my friends or partner to go get hit just so I can test my heals every time I want to try a new skill or rotation or strategy.

Give us the option to preview a piece of furniture/wall/flooring/chandelier before we bother to craft it and it just looks tacky because those little icons don't serve the item much justice.
