Can we change the Workshop yet?
I'm really quite tired of how much of a waste of peoples time it is... There is no reason for the Light Party requirement, you're just wasting my time, as I have to wait on other people to progress synthesis, and I'm wasting other peoples time, because they literally are only required to stand there and do nothing while I progress the recipe...
I get the idea behind the requirement, I really do, but if this was the best you could come up with to create a sense of working together... Don't even bother... Final Fantasy XI had Synergy, and I hated that, but even that is a better implementation of this concept... Other people didn't just stand their and do nothing, they operated different parts of the furnace to work on the recipe, and hell... That was optional, you could solo Synergy recipes, grouping up just improved your odds of success, sped things up, and gave you a better chance making high quality goods... OK we can't HQ anything in the Workshop, but you can increase the odds of needing less materials on the next section instead... That would make having other people for these recipes meaningful... The extra people would actually be contributing something to the process... That creates a sense of working together to build something, because you're actually working together to build something...
Really though, at the very least... Can we remove the Light Party requirement on making wheels? Those are incredibly simple recipes, and pretty much a daily thing, and I just resent the idea of having to waste peoples time so frequently with that... Free Company Workshop and Diadem have been such a disappointment... I'd really have preferred putting more recipes in the Workshop, and giving each member their own projects, so people can work on their own thing there and other members can just go into and contribute towards them if they feel like it... This "Force three people to sit and do nothing" system really killed what was, for me, one of the most anticipated Housing features of 3.0...
