Sometimes you just got to have Some fun
Dear Zhexos,
Do you know there is a fake door at 2/F of a large house?
Everyonel thinks the door is accessiable!
It is a super disappointed door, I think you might have considered this request not a "furnishing idea"
But kindly please relay this "fake door" issue to the DEV, thanks in advance. ^^;
Please make this door accessible.

that why i love you guys your listen us keep the good work

A few things I'd like to see.... all because our FC was discussing the idea that no one hangs around the house anymore. There's really no point except to repair gear and vendor items.
- Triple Triad table inside or out! or... Triple Triad NPCs near the marketboards
- Mini game table (checkers, war, chess) anything
- Hide n Seek NPC (instanced hide and seek in the individual wards) anyone can participate
- History NPC - Have an NPC that ques up videos showing the building or history behind each housing area.
- Outdoor mini games - providing an area where ppl can congregate and play games together (kind of like a park in the housing areas)
- Overall, something to do other than stand around the market boards
Last note to reiterate what's already been stated: GUEST ACCESS TO PRIVATE HOMES!!!
BLM/WHM/PAL - Specialist (All Crafting Classes); PARADOX FC Co-Owner
I think it'd be really nice to be able to see out of the windows of the house:3

Floating Islands
Player gain access to a floating island that is about the same size as a Large plot (perhaps limit it to Medium?) in current housing zones. On this island, the player can build a Large house and the plot plus the house itself are handled exactly like current housing plots.
- The floating island can be sent to various zones but can only change zones once every 18 hours. The island can only move to adjacent zones, and it takes 18 hours to move to each adjacent zone. So if I send it from Central Thanalan to South Shroud, it will take 18 hours to move to Eastern Thanalan, then another 18 hours to South Shroud. Islands cannot go to sanctuary zones.
- Since it is not in a housing zone, obviously it has no access to market boards and other NPCs in the housing zones.
- The island itself costs the same as the equal size plot price. The player also has to buy the house itself as per regular housing zone.
- Permissions management: can set to allow FC members/Party members/Friends to visit via an interface accessible at the airship landings at the city states.
It could even be a paid service like the additional retainers. Its a form of instanced housing that isn't too unnatural, as long as we ignore the situation where thousands of floating islands are moving around Eorzea... /lol
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
― Ernest Hemingway
Only problem I have is the "Zone Moving" idea. That would create and obscene amount of active data that would have to be kept thus adding even more strain to the already overstressed servers. I propose instead that "Free Company" and "Player Housing" be divided to where the Company housing is a privet "FC Only" instanced area while the Privet housing be more inline with the current model. This idea would take a lot of data too but with it being a privet instance it'd be relatively static data for the most part so the servers could keep track better. (Of Course the instanced area being even more ridiculously expensive than a Large Plot but restricted to FCs only. After all, why would a Solo Player need a whole Zone to themselves?)

I know we have a combat dummy that we can practice our attacks against, but I think it would be good to have an AoE practice item as well, just something you could freely train dodging against.
I also think multiple modes of both the dummy and my proposed dodge practicing item would be appreciated. For example, a one minute time trial to see how much damage you could do in that time, or how many times you could successfully dodge in that time.
Maybe a non timed general counter as well.
There could also be different patterns of attacks to dodge, and different weakness on the dummy, that could change randomly or be set by the user.
Things like that would allow people to improve their skills much more rapidly.
They could even be combined into the same item (togglable so you were only dodging or only attacking or doing both as you needed).
So, I'm sure this has been suggested before, but;
Can we please use the crafting stations?
Something similar to the mini-games in Gold Saucer (Gold Saucer/Housing is the same team, right?), to allow multiple people to use them at the same time perhaps? Just have to work on the interface after that, having it open up the Crafting Log. Only other issue I can see is Lalafell (don't they just ruin everything?), but I imagine a step stall could resolve that issue.
Bonus, change the bonus they provide to be more universal, rather than just something for pre-40s. I would adore a "Reduce Durability Loss" stat thrown on them.
