Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

Might have been said before, this is my first time in this thread.

-I'd like to be able to log out via the bed in my personal room. My favorite thing about being a noob was logging out in the inn room, I thought that was so cool and the cut scene was adorable. I'd really like to see that in the houses as well, it might encourage people to use their rooms more.
-I remember reading that they need to make it so when you log in/exit a duty that you're not kicked out of the house, but I'm mentioning it again.
-I think it'd be nice to have the CS journal, toy box, and hair dresser in the houses as well. I think inns are a very nice idea for those without the housing option, but for those who do have a house/personal room, it just becomes a pain when you want to change hair and/or watch a CS.
-Personal rooms and lawns need more item slots. A lot of the events lately have been outdoor items and my FC has a small house and 20 items looks like nothing.
-I'd also like to be able to put minions in rooms/houses. I'd love to come home and be greeted by my little black courel kitten. :3

how about a corresponding item for a minion so that once placed inside your house, the minion will be allowed to roam around the house and sit on stuff. i.e. cat bowl with food so that all the cat minions you have collected can come out at once and laz about effectively make you a crazy cat lady lol. or...

-miner kit (ropes, pickaxe, boots) / Miniature minecart
-dust / broom
-small fruit tree / baby opo opo
-fish tank / fish

I'd like to thumbs-up Pterois' suggestion.

• House Minions: Just a reiteration of above. It would be neat to be able to designate a "house minion" that would meander around the house and interact with objects.
• NPCs: Right now the housing districts only have guard NPCs walking around. It'd be neat if there would be tourists, traveling merchants, etc. that would help make the zone feel less like a museum. So, kind of similar to the famous visitors in Mor Dhona, maybe people just walking around the area, stopping to admire some houses, maybe even showing up inside public houses.
• NPC cont: It'd be cool to have traveling merchants/vendors that maybe sell stuff we can't get with the housing vendors -- like Tallow Candles for example, or even more useful stuff. Maybe a traveling artist that sells his unique paintings in each district, and you could play him in Triple Triad.

Additional comments:

• NPCs final: Furthermore, maybe the housing vendors could do something beyond just standing around -- perhaps interacting with the counters they're placed by, or sitting on chairs, etc. Even an option to specify the animation would be nice. Additionally, if I have a Lala vendor for the house, it's a crime I can't make them stand on the stool object. That broke my heart.
• Lighting: Right now certain objects, such as the cactuar and mandragora lamps, can toggle their light. I wish there was a way to control the ceiling lights for mood lighting, or even just all lights.
• Triple Triad: TT table housing item. Because it makes sense.
• More item slots in small houses please. 100 unfortunately isn't enough to make the place look lived-in. And more wall art would be awesome.

Oh, and, more carpets in bigger sizes. Square ones that take up maybe...20-25% of a medium houses floor would be amazing. Also carpets that you can put beside each other and almost...tile them? Most carpets now don't look good side-by-side. If not, make a carpet flooring. That would be awesome too. Please don't make all of them 4 star, either. Maybe make some simple ones 3-2 star, then the more detailed ones 4 star. This way we have the best of both worlds - common and rare large carpets.

I would like to have a lower fence or maybe no fence at all so can view the beautiful scenery. Now i'm a Lalafell and the fence is higher than i am

Many buildings are not placed beside the walls/hills and obstruct view but at least if i can get a low fence wont be so bad. So a request for team!

I'd love to request a feature to close off the property, a invisible wall so people cannot enter through the gate or jump over the fence. I have trolls for neighbors and I'd love to keep them out. Maybe make this part of the feature where your eternal bond partner (and maybe friends [please!]) have access to your house. I'd love if these permissions were in place, I avoid going outside anymore because my neighbors are always being rude. I mean, day 1, their free company just fired shots from the Magitek mount into my yard.

To fix the lack of plots in some servers and for people who can't afford the expensive price of a "House", I have a suggestion:

- to be able to buy a PERSONNAL ROOM in a INN (why not put a INN in the middle of the housing area? like this the area would become a lot more alive also) those rooms will behave like FC rooms but we would be able to buy one even without any FC.

Setting my eyes on holding a mansion for the first time, I'd like to suggest the following:

-Give us an option for NO FENCE, or give us fences with some open spaces other than the entrance.

-Increase the amount of items we can place inside mansions. JUST DO IT.

-Many house plots, specially medium sized and large sized plots, have AWESOME view, but as soon as you place the actual house building on it, you lose a lot of pretty sight. SOLUTION:

a) Allow players to get to the roofs of houses easily. I suggested this before and SE replied saying the developers had problems creating higher A-shaped stairs, like the one we already have. So I guess the solution would be either to have players able to jump up the top of the houses somehow, or...

b) ... Just modiify the existing roof models, or create new buyable roof types: rooftops! http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/med...48/rooftop.jpg
