Fish Tank ----> ?
I fish a lot. lol

yes, a fish tank is a brilliant idea. you would need to make glass plates (silex/clear class lens?), use something like sealant, glue or mortar, and then catch/buy some high quality fish of specific types. We could have say, 3 or four combinations of fish to make fish tanks, sort of like how culinarian can make various kinds of tea sets and table foods.
I dont know if we want fish tanks to be edible/catchable ponds though, but it could work either like Culinarian Tea sets (10 samples or 3 fish, for instance) or like Gardens, especially if its a pond. Otherwise it would be decorative like Alchemist plants.
Nothing is quite so boring as nothing.
Gardening Box. A small shed or something works too.
Like an Armiore, but outside and stores Fishmeal, Seeds, Topsoils. Bonus points if I can store items in it and use them while gardening without the extra step of removing them.
My inventory would thank you.
This update we got to station Retainers outside along with two pieces of related furniture which makes a lovely little "shop" when combo'd with Awnings, but thinking about it there is nothing which really combos particular well with Garden plots and Chocobo Stables... Having a little garden tool box or shed would work really well, and I guess storing Magicked Brooms in it would make sense as well. Having it similar to the Company Chest would be great actually; Gives all gardeners/trainers the tools they need right next to the plot/stable, rather than having to go into the house and leave the house again.

Would like for my spouse to be able to teleport to my private house and interact with furniture and vendors like I can.

In my opinion, housing right now is very limited because there is almost no exterior land.
Even if I will buy a mansion, I will receive tiny portion of land outside which looks depressing, feels depressing and allows no creativity.
It's like I'm building in the middle of Tokyo.
My request is to introduce new tier of land (or luxury versions of existing tiers) which will cost more but will be bundled with plenty of exterior territory.

I would LOVE to have bigger yards but we all know that would require something completely different from what we have now. a quicker fix to this would be removing the "hill" they have every house sitting on. *see red highlighted area for example* It would instead be flush with the surrounding land.
This would remove the need for the steps leading up to the yard but it would also increase the "feel" of how big our yards are, even if we can still only place items in the allotted box.

heres a pretty quick chop. this would be most effective if we could have an option to completely remove the fence and any markers showing our "square" we can place things in.

All I want for Christma- erm, housing* is a working cupboard that I can put random items in! Or, you know, boxes, shelves, just about anything really that I can put some crafting mats into. Storage features were the main thing I was looking forward to housing for, since back in 1.xx when they first announced it, before they even introduced inn rooms as a testing stop gap. Years later and I still can't put a piece of rock or cloth away at home unless you count retainer storage >_>
Please SE! Working cupboards/boxes/etc that we can put some random unspecified things into!
I would like this feature too... but there has already been an official answer for this some time ago
Anyone interested in books we could actually read (about lore, little stories, anything...)? ^^Q: Please implement furnishings where we can store items or racks we can decorate with weapons in our private chambers.
A: Komoto: As a player myself… I understand the requests to increase the amount of space in Company Chests and feel it would be good to have a bit more. However, when it comes to adding a rack it might not be the best way of going about things since it could contribute to problems revolving around having to remember where you put your items. Personally I feel that it would be best to keep things simple so players can play the game easily
We could collect them like minions and store them in a library in our house!
I made a topic for this here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-actually-read don't hesitate to press the +1 if you like the idea! thanks!![]()
