Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

So here's the idea. You have these tiny spaces you can see little windows in for the roof on some buildings, and others, like the wood roof for small houses, you can walk around on like a castle tower.
But you can't put anything up there.

I was thinking this would be a great "storage room" thing you could buy access to. Basically a small hatch entrance exit that you buy from the housing vender, but it would unlock say, 10-20 more slots where you could place stuff you don't need out, or if you have curious visitors or people who jump on open roofs, perhaps something like a skyscraper style garden. This would be a basic upgrade you could buy for all houses, perhaps 100k for small, 250k for medium, and 500k for mansion.

For a small private house, there's a decent amount of indoor furnishings, but for outdoors, you have huge amounts of space and only 20 slots to fill it.Everywhere I go the yards of most houses look sparse, and I thought it was because they were still building.

While its true most people will never need 20 tables and benches or lamps, Things like Trees, Bushes, and flowers really shouldn't count against that total. I suggest the Outdoors have another 12 or so slots but specifically for Plants (32 total instead of 20), or at least 4 more slots (24 instead of 20).

I think there needs to be more yard in general. Its hard to get camera angles when in the yard, even in mansion sized houses.

On a completely different topic, more wall mounted furnishings in general. Theres just not much to choose from at the moment, and it seems like everyones got the same things on their walls.

I'd love to see some of the FF XI mog house furniture brought over into this game. Would be nice for nostalgia sake, and to be honest, a lot of it was very well designed anyway.

for a shower corner how about a tile mat and also some stone partitions.



as you can see here i had to stack many riviera pillars together to achieve a good looking shower wall and its very thick, if only that only took 1 or 2 partitions since our space is limited. Would also be nice to have a different floor (tiles) for this corner.

Retainers can now be placed on estate grounds outside the hall.

Please tell me this is coming set up with a serious of merchant themed furniture. Mannequins especially would be perfect for this, though I guess Retainers themselves can effectively fill the part.

Also, please work Retainer sales on estates such that it's actually beneficial to go buy from a Retainer:

-If selling from an estate, remove the 5% sales tax.
-Instead, have that tax applied to the buyer if they're using the Market Board.
-If the buyer goes to the estate and buys there, they get no tax.

This means there is no real difference unless someone visits an estate to buy, in which case they get a discount. If I put something up on the Market Board for 10,000G, the buyer pays 10,000G and I get 9,500G after taxes. If I put something up on my estate, I undercut and sell around 9,500G and anyone buying off the Market Board pays extra bringing it up to 10,000G. Both cases would be the same, the only difference is it would encourage visiting my estate to avoid that tax for the discount which I honestly think is a great thing. Just update the Market Boards interface to display a Retainers location (Area:Ward:Plot) and let people decide if that 5% discount is worth visiting the Wards for.

Delete the option that destroy rare/expensive/unique furniture from personal housing. I understand it coul be be a problem for Company housing, but what's the point for personal?
