Probably with a ladder, as most people do with high or hard to reach places is my guess.
There are even specific ladders for bookshelves and I'm sure a custom one could be made to fit rounded shelves. ٩(｡•ω<｡)و

Display Mannequins not tied to retainers, for showing off weapons and gear sets. Oh, and an increase to the limit on interactable furnishings. As an Ivalice Enjoyer, I want to be able to show off the armor sets I've earned over the years ^^
