requoting this bc it's important
We NEED glass ceilings where the sun comes in
Let us place all windows horizontally (flat) onto ceilings
A small item roughly the size of the Sealed Letter (or perhaps circular with same diameter as Sealed Letter is wide) that has collision so it can be used to unobtrusely support the NPC items (vendor permits, mannequins, etc.) that are being floated above ground level without requiring a larger furnishing with collision to be placed underneath. Dyeable would be a plus.

Considering that floating NPCs (despite however much people may do it anyway) is not intended, I don't see this happening outside of some drastic tool and interface changes (such as giving us a 3rd axis for control of verticality).

Thank you to the designers who created the Flagstone Steps and Flagstone loft!
Please make a matching Flagstone wall / divider
Also would love to see Thavnair items housing items
as well as more Sharlayan, Ishgardian, Eulmore and Elpis related items
Also, wall Partitions without the wood paneling that is on nearly each partition. The wood paneling should be optional, or make new blank Oasis, Glade, Hingan and Riviera partitions that are without the paneling.
I'd like to use walls with wallpaper without the wood paneling.

Can we have better decorating options. For example, we can place an object anywhere on a wall and it can be at any angle. Also can we get rid of role restrictions or at least increase the number of the same items you can have in a house?
There's a lot more but these are the ones I wish we had now.

Thavnair, Empyreum/Ishgard and Sharlayan house decor
Lalafell sized beds/ doorways and more

Increased interior item limit for apartments and housing
Aged wood stairs, floors & pillars
Flagstone partition, flagstone Pillar
Bird cage
Cat/pet bed
Glass & window ceilings (not slanted wood partitions) - greenhouse ceiling - stained glass ceiling, factory glass ceiling, arched glass ceiling
Indoor Oak tree
Curved & rounded bookshelves
Art Nouveau furniture
Dwarven/ lalafell furniture
Bay windows
Round Aquariums
Small bathtubs
toilets and outhouses
Fully Customizable house interior - We currently are stuck with pillars, ceilings & wall molding based on the ward we are in- suggestion: Let us have fully customizable interior
Window Scenery without the frame or digital lines
Let us have different music per floor
Different lighting per floor (wildstar could do it)
Grimoire's, staves & magic items, weapon mounts and weapon stands (without the mannequin, which is hard to place sometimes)

SO much these two!Increased interior item limit for apartments and housing

Having the built-in pillars cut into furniture you wanna place is so frustrating. Also, not being able to put deviders/partions up against the side of staircases is annoying as all get out.
Being able to mirror-flip curtains (and other wall decor) without needing to use a stage panel to glitch things would really cause much less headache.
Being able to put wallpaper on partions. It looks SUPER odd when you partition off to make rooms and only the outer wall have pretty wallpaper on them, while the partitions are dyed in an attempt to at least match ONE of the colors of the wallpaper.
AND...
When you float items through floors (like the imitation glass thingies), for the love of god, do NOT let them show in the ceiling on the lower floor! HUGE yikes, visually!

An expanded interaction radius for the exit of apartments (and perhaps, houses too with their own exits and free company's entry to member apartments) would be nice.
I recently changed up an apartment and needed to place stage panels over an exit to make use of the new Windoor furnishing item. Looks great and I'm satisfied with the set-up, but due to the furnishing blocking the exit a bit far too much, I can no longer exit my apartment to the residential area or lobby without paying 25 gil.
Also, please consider adding the door open/close interaction to pre-existing door partitions. It's a personal problem, but I would like not having to stuff mannequins in walls at a certain distance to keep the doors opened.

Hello! I think I'm in the right place. (I think, lol.) First off, so much yes, and I'm gonna take a better gander at this thread once I get this out. XD I'll try not to make this too lengthy, but it might be worth a looksy.
Okay, let's talk about Mannequins. Still have your attention? (crap..lol) As a seller I have been using them pretty much since I started my trip down the rabbit hole. No taxes for anyone yay! Oh wait...no one can see I'm selling it on one unless I sell it as a set. AND you can only see the set if you click advanced search every time you load the pricing. Also, /tell? What if I'm not online? Lol. Therein lies one dilemma. The other is our nefarious and out of control botting problems we've had over the years like weeds. Both need to change.
What I propose is:
- Making any and all items sold from a mannequin have a similar icon on the marketboard as they do when they're sold directly off the mannequin in the history.
- Make the advanced search a toggle function we can turn on and off as we please.
- All items sold from a mannequin in any estate/abode can only be done so if it's set to public. (If it isn't already, I forget, lol.)
- Regardless if the /tell function is left in, add a 'Teleport to Estate' so they can come access your wares.
- And definitely don't touch the zero tax on the wares.
Though I wouldn't mind a small tax if it was still significantly lower, but incentivizing players would lead to more engagement to any individual's estate. (Could also draw them in to that retainer you got sitting out in the cold trying to sell your biscuits.) By making all items from mannequins visible and teleportable, any bots trying to utilize that system would have a way harder time trying to navigate a system like that. And thus players engaging more with each other (or not if it's not your thing, lol), along with overall lower prices; They would stick out like sore thumbs if they tried. 'Excuse me Vjdfrtgiughi Vfkbhikf, where's your pants?'
The goal is to both see neighborhoods flourishing and, at a minimum, add a layer of transparency to the Market. So regardless if you're pulling the 'Obtaining Signature' sorcery, or you are actually Obtaining Signature, it's there for all to see if you wanna use em. Personally I don't care my name's on everything. It's gone once they put it in the chest, lol. 'Yay my name for all t-!'*poof* Not anymore! xD
