This is a nice idea, but the paintings themselves do take up a lot of wall space. Perhaps the solution is to have a smaller, desk stand photo frame that you can purchase pictures of characters that you've unlocked in the Unending Codex, and allow the option to put them in a larger painting frame if you so choose.

As we're really proud to manage to get a Mansion and starting to furniture and design our little place we call home, we've come onto quite a few issues and wanting to get some features added and maybe even removed from the entire housing system.
Even though Square Enix did a blood well job on the entirety of the Housing, there's still major room for improvements and finetuning!

I hope SE will read this and take these ideas and requests into consideration

My two cents is, actually sitting on furniture properly rather than using the same 3 sitting poses. If I am sitting on a moogle chair I want to be able to lay back on it without having to buy a play dead emote.

So I currently have an apartment (looking to get a Small soon), and I'd be most appreciative if the limit for furnishings could be raised. Maybe apartments to 150, small to 250, medium to 400, and large to 500?

I've found that with the current limits, you either have to be very careful with how to decorate to minimise empty space (and compromise on detail), or often block off entire rooms/floors if you go all-in on details.

I'm aware that the current limits exist because of the PS4, which is why I'm requesting a smaller increase to start, to test and see if there's any serious issues, before more sweeping upgrades could be implemented.

Increased interior item limitations are always welcome in my book
I have a small and 200 items is not enough for the way I like to decorate- 250 would feel just right
I also think FC rooms & apartments should be the same price since they offer the same features (or lack there of..)

My requests:
- Some form of noncompetitive instanced housing. Ideally on the island sanctuary for convenience. I would like this to be a lighthouse, as I explained in a different post, but any noncompetitive housing would help.
- Let us stay in our apartments/houses when logging out/in and when queueing for group content.
- Dog plushie decorations. My wolf pup is adorable and I want a toy version in my apartment.
- Dyable (or modifiable) apartment pillars, windows, doors, and ceiling. This is not a huge deal but it seems odd that my character can repaint or put up wallpaper over the rest of the walls, and design any sort of interior, but is somehow unable to paint a small wooden door.

Honestly though, more cave furnishings in general WOULD be nice. I'd love stone versions of the ice partitions and platforms we got for Starlight a few years ago, along with stalactite and stalagmite formations & pillars, glow-worm strands for the walls,etc. Gelmorra vibes, please.
