Basically that we would have a ground floor, an upper floor, and an attic for our mediums instead of a basement, ground floor, and upper floor.

This1) Upper floor for small and medium houses, the tradeoff would be no lower floor in these cases.
2) Balcony for apartments & large houses
3) Option to remove all chandeliers
4) Add wardrobes
5) Add float/sink/lower option to all items
6) Removal of all built in windows
7) Larger item limit for apartments and small houses.
8) The ability to use multiple floorings on one floor
I want all of this and item limit increase for housing and apartments
and to better clarify what you mean by sink/ float etc- that would be like an x,y,z axis menu which would make decorating 100x easier

Allowing us to save our furnishing layout (and load them) would be nice and useful in several ways:
1. We can avoid having to redo our existing decoration after relocation to another plot.
2. We can try out new furnishing / concepts without having to redo the decoration if it turned out to be unsatisfactory.
3. Quick switching of decoration themes based on seasonal dates/occasions becomes a reality.
Hopefully the development team could consider it and at least look into the feasibility of implementing this. Thank you![]()

As a complimentary idea:
The owner could also export that layout, so designers could do decoration commissions without having to make alts in other servers, level up to unlock dyes, etc.
Just putting this down again, to keep it looked at..
Please allow all characters on an account to have access to house/apartments that the main character is in ownership of.

Lalafell sized items - Beds/ Doorways/ Stairs/ furniture/ windows etc
INCREASE INTERIOR ITEM LIMIT & STORAGE FOR S/M/L HOUSES & APARTMENTS
Cobblestone fireplace with a tiny cauldron attached
(A hearth with a fireplace, rather than just a stand alone hearth)

I've been playing a long time and I have made note that the FFXIV team has given us holiday attire, interior and exterior items, and even mounts but we have yet to get any seasonal or holiday themed housing exterior skins. It would be fun to have the recipes unlocked as part of the holiday quest and then you can make them in your FC workshops, but only during the holiday event (for example, say you need a specific item that you can only get during the Moonfire Faire to make the exterior).
It would be a fun way to incorporate the holiday not just in yards and inside houses but also throughout a ward.
(Personally, my first thought was a Starlight Gingerbread Cottage/House/Mansion exterior ... how cute would that be?)
Personally, I wish they would give us recipes for the food furniture items from the season event too. If someone uses up all the charges on a food item and you're out of the season event, you have to wait until the next year and buy that item from the cash shop. :B Like maybe a recipe book would cost 99 event-tokens and would have material you could only get during the event. It would be fun to have the recipes unlocked as part of the holiday quest and then you can make them in your FC workshops, but only during the holiday event (for example, say you need a specific item that you can only get during the Moonfire Faire to make the exterior).
I like this idea. Something akin to a "Seasonal Folklore Tome" that can be purchased with currency earned in something like a Fete from Ishgard Restoration to seasonal events would be a cool way to expand the content for DoH jobs.Personally, I wish they would give us recipes for the food furniture items from the season event too. I've pre-ordered the IRL FFXIV cookbook, can I haz limited edition in-game recipes plz? LOL
I've said it before, and will say it again for emphasis: May we please have full stone interior items such as partitions, pillars, steps, lofts, and furniture? I adore the Masonwork wall and floor but having to use wooden partitions and loft/stairs hits my "need for uniformity" nerve pretty hard.

I asked before and will ask again - Paper Partition Walls please?
Using the current paper partition (door) as walls is not ideal as it:
- opens up as you run past it making a really noisy mess of several "thuds thuds thuds" as it opens and closes.
- causes your camera to clip through it (as all doors do) thus making it very uncomfortable for some players (nausea even)
While one can work around it by putting a solid wall behind it and sandwiching it with 4 paper partition door and a NPC vendor to force the doors to stay permanently "open" but that is just extremely wasteful of slots.
Please consider it SE! Thank you.
