To be clear of what exactly I'm talking about:
-The interior pillars, stairs, doorways, railings and ceiling style that comes standard with the house you buy. These are unmovable and unchangeable. These are determined by the location of where the house is located. Currently there are four style Riviera, Glade, Oasis and Hingan. With what I can only assume will be a fifth “Ishgardian”.

The Suggestion:
-In the past, exterior wall fixtures used to be locked to style of wall to style of housing ward. Such as a Riviera walls and fixtures only being able to be used in “Mist” Limsa Liminsa Housing and so on with other housing districts.
-I suggest adding another option to the “Remodel Interior” tab under Housing, from this point you will be able to pick what style of interior you want such as Riviera, Glade, Oasis and Hingan. The models for these styles already exist in the game for all house types Small, Medium and Large houses.

Why we need this option:
-As mentioned earlier, the exterior wall fixtures have already been unlocked allowing for more customization. This also abolished the argument of keeping style of theme to housing location. Allowing the remodeling of interior styles will allow for greater customization of style to preference by the owner/decorator without the need of using partitions to hide unwanted unchangeable elements.

Future Outlook:
-Future Ishgardian housing will most likely bring it's own style of interior, with those that prefer it and those that do not. Being able to choose the interior style regardless of housing location might reduce a bit of the housing rush on Ishgardian houses when players would be able to change their exterior and interior to Ishgardian in the house they already own.
-Having a menu to switch interior style would also be beneficial for the future expansion of this idea. If the development of more styles becomes available later on in the future, more then Riviera, Glade, Oasis, Hingan, and Ishgardian then it could be added to this menu. Maybe Moogle themed, Chocobo themed, Modern themed and even plain themed interior styles with more or less unmovable elements in the interior.

Main suggestion: an actual /notice/ of housing demolition status when one is scheduled to be remvoed. If I send a support ticket in game, the game will flash a thing in the corner until the sun dies out to notify me it was responded to, so I think we can do just a bit better than a status indicator on page two of the ctrl+U menu. At least an in game automated mogmail or something. Losing a house because you've been busy with other things while playing the game and simply didn't enter it for a month is just crappy, but making it worse by not even properly notifying the player within the game of when it's going to happen is just kind of ridiculous.

And no, it's not 1995, we don't all regularly check every email account. o.o;

I agree 100%. More should be done to notify players. I know a few people with busy lives who only get on on weekends at best who lost their houses because they didn't remember to step in their house once every 40 days. The having to step in to stop a timer that's hidden is an atrocious system.

I have a better idea
How about put a repair NPC inside your house and use that NPC everyday?
There is no worry about your house being demolish

In other words, you didn't need that house.
It takes maybe 2 mins to just teleport and enter, you had plenty of time.

could we get rid of all glitches and instead be able to place things anywhere we want it... without it sticking to ground and being limited by whatever... just being able to place anywhere in the room and away from the floor...

This game has moved into 2021... such things was possible in MMOs from early 2000.... even being able to rotate and bank items in any direction that would feel like.
