My suggestion would be an option to turn off effects for other players' outdoor housing items! I mentioned it in a thread I posted last night asking if such a toggle exists, but some housing effects are really obnoxious, like the hearts spewing out from the Valentione's Day event housing item (idek what it's called, it doesn't even show up in the outdoor housing preview window) or the creaking noises from the Namazu effigy. Aesthetics interrupting gpose aside, it could help for players with weaker systems by giving them less to render.

All I want to be added to the housing is for screenshots to be used on canvases.
We can already have sightseeing logs, but I need my friend's portrait in my house.

Replaceable & interchangeable pillars & walls that aren't set based on house

PLEASE INCREASE ITEM LIMIT IN ALL HOUSES BY 50%

Can we please have a way to transfer ownership of our houses to an alt character on the same account and server? I don't play my old character anymore but I LOVE the house, and would like to give the house to a character I play more... Or at LEAST let alt characters be able to decorate and port to the house like friends can. That would also work. I just want to be able to utilize the house on my alt character without spending boatloads more gil and then rejoining the house plot hunting game.

Doors for the missing partitions styles, please - in detail:

- Hingan style doors (the sliding doors have a different style than the partitions)
- white partition style doors
- Blank partition style doors
- Marble door

...in addition, I'd like to see archways (like the marble one we already got) for all partition styles (both blank and "normal"), aswell!

Please remove the one per estate limitation on Expanse, or Boundless Expanse fountains.

Two would look good on either side of my front door, but I am not going to have one glowing, and the other not.

Otherwise, may as well may the limit of one item type per outdoors on plots across the board.... which I am confident in saying would not be welcomed.

Save us the trouble of having to glitch things and let us put windows anywhere.

If it's because it doesn't make sense for players to have light coming through a window not on the edge of the room, so what? People are going to defy physics with or without your blessing. Just save us the repetitive strain of having to perform these glitches.

Add a vertical axis. Everyone already uses glitches to do so. You all acknowledged those glitches and went as far as fixing something that "broke" them a while ago. As it is they're just a needless time consuming activity that only fosters frustration when one of the many things that would make the furniture return to point zero happens.


Let us opt out of the default empty layout of the houses/rooms. Let us have true "empty boxes" without annoying columns.


Let us change the ceilings!

Could we possibly please have a break from brown / wooden wallpapers and floors?

Each patch we generally only receive:
1 new wallpaper
1 new floor
1 new lighting fixture

A big chunk of ShB's wallpaper and flooring was brown. Two patches worth, plus the new beige carpet with 5.5. We already have SO MANY brown and wooden wallpapers and flooring textures, a break from them would be really appreciated.

There are so many colors that could use more options - Pinks, purples especially, but even also deep greens, blues, etc.

Heck, there's even plenty of wallpapers and patterns already in the game that we don't have housing versions of yet, like the Shirogane apartment building wallpaper, and a good many of the ones in Heaven on High, etc.

That said, I've included some patterns I think could maybe provide some inspo?

In short: Florals, celestial patterns, deep rich jewel tones, geometric patterns, art nouveau inspired prints. There are so many options for more varied textures and colors and I'd love to see more of that in Endwalker.
