A built-in option for floating housing furniture...since the floating glitch already exist why not just make it a legit in-game option.
I will forever want a garden area for my apartment... because I've discovered that I really can't be bothered with houses. Have had three all together in the past and they just don't cut it for me. The only thing they're missing is an outdoor area for gardening. #Apartmentforlife
I won't be coming back to FFXIV's forums. The forum vibe is way too venomous and brings out the worst in me. I don't like who I am on the forums, so it's best to distance myself.

Some features that will makes housing system more fun and immersive:
1. Functional simple AI for merchant NPCs
Using a framework similar to Fallout 4's settlement building, allowing these NPC can freely walk around the interior of a house.
2. Attached animation to the furniture.
As per previous point, attached an animation to each piece of furniture. This would allows NPC to looks like they are alive inside the interior of the house, for example, trigger the cooking animation when NPC walk near a stove or clean/browsing when a NPC walks near a bookshelf, etc. This is possible as squad room already have a similar function
3. Customization on merchant npc: hairstyle, color of the clothe, etc minor stuff.
I sugest more houses so more players can be in on this part of the game.

I like spending hours mixing and matching different pieces of outfits, but I want to show off and consult with my friends sometimes when I try to create an outfit. I have most of all my glam pieces in the glam dresser, but friends can't be with you when you try on outfits, or try to pick the right pair of shoes, or gloves etc for an outfit.
Please add a glam dresser to the Free Company workshop, so that people can play dress-up games together and create new outfits, while everyone has access to their glam dresser.
Even better, just let us place one of these items per estate and invite friends to our house/apartment to help each other work together in creating new outfits.
The glam dresser situation is reminding me of the Mog House from FFXI, that didn't allow for friends to be invited over and one was always alone in their mog house. I had quit that game after 10 years of subscribing due to a lack of space for dress-up outfits and a continuous addition of new and complicated/difficult new battle systems. The same goes for the Inn atm, as it causes fashion enthusiasts to become isolated in their inn or squadron rooms for hours at a time. An mmo is supposed to be a social game. Please allow us to interact with other players and have everyone being able to access their glam dressers when playing dress-up.
Also: My glam dresser is 400/400 with many other pieces in armory and on retainers. Please increase the dresser's capacity to 1000 and let us save 50 outfits. Playing dress-up is my favorite feature in this game, with house decorating being second most favorite feature. You always improve battling and crafting for people who enjoy those activities, but what about the player base that's mainly here to design? We would like to see some QoL updates too.

I feel slightly like I'm in an echo chamber, but I wanted to throw out a couple of ideas in the spirit of the current season...
I realize this can't possibly be implemented in time for the next patch let alone the event, but as I was decorating my own house for Christmas I thought of a few ideas that might be fun to have for next year:
-Some slightly more traditional/rustic looking garlands. The kind that are wall mounted, have holly and ornaments and such to go with the lovely starlight wreaths we already have.
-A rustic fireplace. The stone oven is all well and good, but something with a wood (dyeable) mantel shelf and a fireplace screen/poker set built in would be a lovely upgrade I think. Maybe a version of the above garland that would fit across it with stockings?
-An outside door decoration of some kind. Star, snowflake, snowman, wreath, whatever. It'd just be nice to be able to hang something on my door.
-A nice woven rug in the same style/size as the moogle one only without the moogle and preferably dyeable. It would make a lovely simple rug for general use and would really brighten any festive room.
-We already have the lighted garlands, but maybe some pixie lights done in a similar way could be fun. We could have a whole Norvrandt theme going with a couple of pixies who just love the spirit of the holiday or something.
-A snow hill for sledding (complete with sled) would make a very cute addition to those gorgeous cedar trees we just got.
-And maybe a smaller version of the giant fire pit we got from Ishgard with hot chocolate, s'mores, and various winter paraphernalia around (hats, scarves, etc.) would be fun as well.
I admit I'm a fan of simple/rustic/traditional styles, and I know a lot of people much prefer more modern looks, but I thought I'd throw those ideas out there anyway. Even with a modern look a lot of that could go a long way towards fleshing out a room for winter/Christmas.![]()

I think its time for all housing and apartments to have access to 3 gardens each. And no that does not mean we want a farming class added to the dol category...
A Beehive. That is all.

A bit late for this year, but can we get snowball outdoor furnishing(s) next year for the Starlight event? ^^
