Can we please please please please please have the option to mirror furniture? My need for symmetry demands it. So many of the L-shape furniture (counters, couches, etc) in particular would be so much more usable if we could simply tic a box and place a mirror'd version of them...

I've sort of said it before with animated ceilings (night sky like Hogwarts in harry potter would be awesome), but I think there could be a lot of fun with animated / sort of parallax / inside the walls is a sky box sort that looks like one of the Fae areas (like illusion walls of Dohn Mheg or Il Mheg). Semi-example with the admiral of Limsa's window showing limsa in the background inside her room (but it's actually just a little skybox).

Thank you for the heads up, I so often miss these contests because I don't check lodestone that often.

Can we have a "fix" for the texture glitch when overlapping the same furniture? Most noticeable with partitions, seeing that texture-mesh spaz out really is irksome, and for a lot of designs I think overlapping in the manner that causes it can be really unavoidable...

Could we get some lower/less bulky fences and/or items that remove fences for house exteriors?
Some houses have a nice view but you can't set up viewing/sitting areas because the fences/walls are too tall and bulky.
(For example: Lavender Bed's default/no-fence fence are just some poles in the ground or Shirogane's are a very simple bamboo fence. Either of those would be nice to appreciate Mist's coastline or Goblet's view of the desert horizon.)

Could we see more furniture that's a combination of existing furniture? This was something that was started (?) with outdoor furniture, with things like the Retainer Counter, which is a single piece of furniture as far as our limit goes, but it's made up of 5 pieces of individual furniture we can place in interiors (namely; Glade Counter + 2 Glade Lamps + Inkwell + Classified Documents). For interiors particularly, I think we could really do with some tables that include chairs or stools. Think something like the Bar Counter, why not have a version of that which just includes 2 Bar Stools on it as well? Then we're placing 1 item instead of 3. The only table I can even think of that currently does this is the Knightly Round Table, which frankly is just comically large... If you want to make a dining area, or study room... Those tables + chairs really end up eating into your furniture limit... Would be a gods-send to have an option that's just combined them.

On the topic of freeing up space on the furniture limit, I'm not sure how feasible this is with XIVs spaghetti code, but a "Merge" option could be absolutely amazing for table-top and wall-mounted furniture... Essentially it would just delete the table-top/wall mounted furniture, while merging them with the surface they're placed on. So, going back to the Retainer Counter, you could recreate that indoors with the Glade Counter, 2 Glade Lamps, an Inkwell and Classified Documents. As I said before, that's 5 furniture slots. Hit "Merge" however, and the 2 Glade Lamps, Inkwell and Classified Documents are now part of the Glade Counter, essentially it becomes the Retainer Counter you can have outdoors (although you might lay things out differently). They desk clutter is essentially deleted, freeing up 4 slots, and the Glade Counter now has them fixed in the same place they were when you hit "Merge". You wouldn't be able to customize them anymore, you'd probably lose them outright if you removed or stored the Glade Counter, but I'd say it would honestly be worth it just to free up those furniture slots.

An idea for the devs to kick about at least... All I know is that it'd probably be worth another 50 furniture slots for me... Table-top and wall-mounted furniture are both the best and worst pieces of furniture in the game... Best because they can add so much detail to an area, worst because they just eat into your furniture limit without really filling any extra space... A "fix" for that would be great, or just an expansion to the furniture limit, either/or as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think that would be feasible as the reason the pre-built furniture works that way is because they can call up furniture piece 101 and it's already in your client pre-built. Custom merging would still require it to call up all the singular pieces as it does now. The only real use for something like that would be more of a grouping feature so you could move a lump of furniture all at once, but it wouldn't save any furniture slots.

I would like to request a customization loft. Like a white rectangular partition but horizontal.

Also, please let us put ground based items in a loft.
