I just want a toilet, bathroom sink and mirror that I don't have to jimmy other items to fake it up.

I know Yoshi mentioned something when housing first came out about having minions wander around your house.
Was thinking maybe it could be something like the npc vendors we can buy, but when placed down we get to select a minion we've unlocked and then that minion will randomly wander around the area that it was placed.

I'm one of the few people that seems to really like the Goblet, though now I wish I bought a house in Shirogane like my friend did. Tons of garden options to decorate his house with and really match the overall eastern aesthetic. Mist and lavender beds have lots of floral options too, though to prettify my goblet garden desert style I'm stuck with one tree and a fence with flowers and cacti. That's it. I don't really like the weird glowy whismical items, I just want more normal plants that match the the location themes. q_q
Also strongly seconding ability to preview items before buying them.
Hopefully Ishgard housing, if it does happen, we'll cause the design team to stop focusing so much on far eastern items.I'm one of the few people that seems to really like the Goblet, though now I wish I bought a house in Shirogane like my friend did. This is far from a perfect solution, but a way you can kind of preview housing items is to have it in your inventory, go into your house and start the process of putting it down, then before actually putting it down and Binding it, turn off your UI (defaulted to Scroll Lock on PC) to see what the item looks like without the orange glow around it. If you don't like how it looks, just escape out and you can still sell your unbounded furnishing on the MB.
There are quite a few things that you buy from vendors and bind to you just from buying them... I try to find someone in game that already has the item places in their house/ apt/ FC room so I can look at it, get a feel for the size/ colors before I buy things myself. I don't know if this has been suggested or not. Would it be possible to have a storage unite for the garden? Just a small storage chest or an attachment to the house to place topsoil's and seeds in them.

Oh, this would be a godsend, especially with the sheer number of seed varieties out there. If you like to experiment with lots of different things, that stuff really takes a toll on your inventory over time.
Even just a outdoor variant of the Free Company Chest would do IMO, although I guess that doesn't work for Private Estates, and I'd prefer something that looks different... In serious need of a Shed...

My request is to remove the binding on furniture. Unlike gear it makes no sense and one should be able to sell it again on the MB instead of letting it rot in the storage.
Or, at least, don't make the binding immediately. Let us look at it for a few minutes and let us finish decorating before we need to decide what we want to keep or not. Just give us some time to decide.
