I’m tempted, for sure... I want to use them so badly!
I’m tempted, for sure... I want to use them so badly!
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I would love to have some strings of lights for the outdoors, that could thread through the trees.
I don't know how feasible this is but it would be neat if we could change the size of items. Imagine using just ONE 2 million Gil combed woolen rug to get a carpeted room or make things smaller to fit into your design or larger in mansions when there's not enough slots.
I guess if you made things really large they would become pixelated but it would be neat to play with.
I recently did an Alice in Wonderland commission for someone on ultros. I really wanted to have a tiny room and a giant room for when Alice eats the cake or drinks the elixir. The execution was less than favorable, so I had to scrap that idea. In the end, the house came out great. Client is more than happy and people make Alts to see it but I think having that option would have taken it up a notch.
Don't know if this has been suggested or not (kind of a long forum thread to read through) Not so much a feature as it is an idea for new housing skins.. Primal themed housing skins, spriggan and tonberry skins would also be pretty cool too.
This one might get long, but housing is my end-game.
Please stop putting housing items into end-game content that has no real reason to be there. Needing us to kill <primal here> for an item to help complete a craft related to the primal? Fine. Forcing me to farm a dungeon for a really nice piece of housing furnishing that has a low drop chance that I then have to beat out three other people for because it's rarity makes it a high-value item even though my crafter should reasonably be able to make it is not fine.
Please consider, when adding an item, adding in alternate forms. Wine glasses were a wonderful addition, as an example, as a 'clutter item' but are hardly able to fill much space and are relatively expensive to craft depending on market. There's no reason that I can't have my carpenter craft various levels of wooden eatery from shoddy bar mugs to refined platters - nor that the other crafting classes can't have the same. I'd like to see chipped cups, chipped plates, metal utensils of various materials.
Culinarian is lacking terribly for housing items and suffers even more because everything that it crafts save for one or two items takes up the limited slots of interactable items that are also shared by paintings, blank wall partitions, flower pots, vendors, and god knows what else. They have no outdoor items at all, none of their housing items can be desynthesized unlike pretty much all of the other crafting classes, and there are many items that they should - again - reasonably be able to make that have been put on holiday vendors instead.
I would like to see more items for clutter for them. I'd love to see them get more 'wax' variations of items, which are not able to be interacted with but won't get culled. I would like to see more alternate items - the bread basket is nice, but it's high level and silly when I have 70 levels of different types of bread that could go into a basket. I'd like to see them get various picnic baskets for the outdoors, or cookfires, or 'wax fruit trees.' I'd love to see them have different types of wreaths with matching garlands with various types of coloring; harvest colors with harvest vegetables, winter with winter fruits, etc. I'd like more fruit baskets, more bread baskets, more vegetable baskets. Meat and cheese platters!
'Blank' door partitions so my doors aren't sticking out like sore thumbs from the rest of my walls. Curtains. More showers/styles! Un-themed beds. Strings of lights. Less expensive items available more easily while keeping the nicer looking items behind whatever - a good example are the assorted candles, which are highly expensive because they require an RNG drop from an FC-locked activity, but we could easily have other candle items from the other candles or just more candles. Half-pillars - half as thick and others half as tall.
More wall items. More aquariums - specifically, less wide and more tall so they kind of look like pillars and let the inside override clipping so that if I, as an example, set it into a pillar as a frame, the pillar isn't clipping through it and my fish aren't swimming into granite.
More clutter items in general. Towels, different towel hangers in various metals with dyeable cloth. Loft items so I can build lofts without glitching - I don't care if they can only be placed halfway up a wall or higher, just let me make lofts. More picture frames, but dyeable frames and different frame types - metal, or even no frame. If you put something into a master book, please consider having 'lesser quality' items as just base.
I could keep going, but I think this is enough for the moment. I just want to make pretty things, SE.

Korpokkur Kolossus House
Would be with a leaf overhead and the little dew drop on top.
Mouth can be the door.
=
Please incorporate Korpokkur furniture as well.
Thank you.
Mannequins are nice. Now give Weapon Display Plaques so we can mount weapons on walls. Ideally with far less limitations than Mannequins, because I'd want to display a lot of weapons...
Like I mean a lot... If there's a Relic in the game? I want to turn it into furniture... Possibly individual steps, too... Every ARR Relic, every Zodiak weapon, every Animus weapon, every Eureka weapon... And that's just Relics... Pretty sure I'd want to display other weapons too...

I just want a toilet, bathroom sink and mirror that I don't have to jimmy other items to fake it up.

I know Yoshi mentioned something when housing first came out about having minions wander around your house.
Was thinking maybe it could be something like the npc vendors we can buy, but when placed down we get to select a minion we've unlocked and then that minion will randomly wander around the area that it was placed.
