Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

Dear SE... bring back the item floating glitch so that we can continue to make lofts.

Thank you for the Chirugeon's supplies, devs! (and thank you for making the round staggered shelf dyeable!!)

More stuff currently on my wishlist:

- Curtains! (like the ones from the item contest!) as well as ones that function as drapery-like partitions - both opaque and transparent.

- Ananta-themed furniture! This trend away from beast-tribed themed furnishing for both inside and outside is kind of disappointing! I had been hoping for some pretty jeweled embellishments for my house! The plushes are adorable, but functional furniture is missed.


- more partition shapes / sizes!

- dyeable partitions that match the wards they belong to (oasis, riviera, etc.) - the current ones are great, but having partitions that match the trim of the ward of the house would help some people create a more cohesive look!

- Wallpapers! The purple wallpaper in the ruby bazaar is gorgeous, can we have a version of it? The pale blue wallpaper from the Shirogane apartment (as it is a cherry blossom pattern, can we have a version in pale pink too?) -- as well as more subdued / calm wallpapers in a variety of shades and colors.

- More rugs! (in more sizes / shapes / patterns! - and preferable dyeable!) - there are tons of examples in the Steppe, and even in Skalla.

- Ala Mhigan / Thavnarian themed furniture

- "Ishgard Manor" skin for housing.

- Wall tiles! The new brick wall is a neat addition! Any chance we can get other tiled patterns too? (for a kitchen, a bathroom - even fancier mosaic overlays for decoration.)

- More hanging plants / planter partitions - The ivy is great, and so are the flowerpots, but more non-interactive greenery options would be nice! Maybe some ferns? Cacti? overflowing pots of succulents?

- More beds - with curtain canopies - and dyeable to better fit decor!

SE, you should assign a staff member to look at housingsnap.com and see all the furniture combinations.
Then you make items that mimic those combinations - that way we save slots and you save money by not having to keep upgrading hardware to expand furniture slots.

Can we be allowed to place more than one summoning bell in homes? It'd be nice to have one per floor, so people don't have to go back running to whichever floor it is put on just to access it.

Please let us have a legit way to make lofts (float platforms).
There are many creative designs that can benefit from this and while i understand the system isn't designed with such a feature in mind, please do explore the possibility.
Let's not limit the creative energy of the players due to system design limitations!

Soooo... I just placed the two allagan carpets (you know, the Projection Module and the Purification Module) in my house - and while those look ugly by themself, they have those really nice light-effects. Sadly they're only active for like 20 seconds or so - can we have them turned into actual "lamps" that stay active? The whole point of my Purification Module is to keep Bahamut trapped in that bubble.

(I'm sure this has been asked before, but... please, make it happen? ;_; )

Gates or Doors at entrance to plot would be nice. Also like to be able to have work shop in private housing since can have friends sharing the house. Also love to see indoor swimming pools. If they had them I would make basement to my place a huge swimming pool. Also maybe door bells.

Can we get certain minions as statues?

I was looking at the Khloe-puppet-thing that you can place in the house and then to my Moenbryda walking behind me and I thought "Hey, it would be cool to have her in the house!"
I know that minions in the house, walking around, has been suggested before but my request is a little different - specially since the walking-around-thing seems to be difficult...?
My request is: Make little statues based on certain minions.
Pro: The modell is already there! You just need to freeze the minion in a posture and bäm! New housing item! (Possibly another Khloe-reward?)

I'd most like to see all those that are based on characters - Moenbryda, Aymeric, Haurchefaunt...
I'd even prefer that over having them walk around! Even though walking minions would still be a neat feature for all the animal ones!

We need a /doze emote option for the Kotatsu table, think about how warm and cozy it is underneath that cloth and we can't enjoy it properly right now
