Greetings, everyone!
Thanks for all the requests. There are lots of good ideas here that I will be sure to share with the development team.
In the meantime I wanted to share some things that are on the horizon.
First, we are currently looking into making it so that changing jobs in housing areas will not place your actions on cooldown. Once we decide on the implementation timing we will be sure to let you all know!
Also, as you may know, there is currently no system in place to allow you to upgrade your land plot, which means it wouldn't be possible to carry over your furnishings were you able to upgrade from a small plot to a medium one. However! We are looking into implementing a moving feature, which will allow you to bring everything to your new home.
We are still in the planning phase of this system, but once there are developments we will be sure to let you know.

That's good news, and a step in the right directionAlso, as you may know, there is currently no system in place to allow you to upgrade your land plot, which means it wouldn't be possible to carry over your furnishings were you able to upgrade from a small plot to a medium one. Oh this is excellent information. So eventually we will be able to upgrade plots from one size to another. As Lithera said, hopefully FCs will get the option of selling back a plot or selling it to another FC for a discounted price of sorts towards the new plot that they'd like.Greetings, everyone!

Thanks, Camate, for this information and for taking down our suggestions.
Well... "Common" sense isn't all that common anymore, now is it?

Sorry to sound cynical and judgmental, but that should have been available from the beginning. Especially since you seem to think that housing is worth what we're being asked to pay for it.Also, as you may know, there is currently no system in place to allow you to upgrade your land plot, which means it wouldn't be possible to carry over your furnishings were you able to upgrade from a small plot to a medium one. Several nice suggestions all. On regards to the housing limit ideally I would like to see the 200 item cap in large increased to at least 400 (500-600 would be really nice especially for future content additions) and maybe a at least 10 item increase outside (anything more would be nice as well). I am not sure about the other houses except mediums 150 inside limit, but I imagine with the small size increase they will desire a larger inside limit as well. Thanks for forwarding the suggestions as well.

Unsure if this has been requested already, but I'd really like to see items pertaining to pets be added. We can have minions and all, but nothing really reflects that we might have little companions running around with us, and some of us treat our mounts as much larger pets. There's no pet beds, no chew toys, balls of yarn piles (the basket of yarn tabletop item doesn't count), food bowls, dog houses, scratching towers, birdcages, etc.
Aquariums were a nice step in the direction of pet items for houses.
I mean... look at what they did do despite data space. Also, post is nearing 4 years old.A few Major requests I've heard in my free company:
Please increase the item limit from 200 to something more realistic, the house is very empty because we can't place more items.Same counts for the outside part (40)- Please allow us to change stuff like the look of the stairs (inside and outside)
Please allow us to dye more stuff, it's rather limited. Please allow us to hang stuff like paintings and other wall-hanging stuff on partitions.- Please increase the limit on limited items, like the Odin statue, the Blazing Garuda Couch, etc..
- Please allow us to access the balcony!
Please allow us to change the jobs without a GCD reset in our house. Please implement doors that we can place inside the house. Please allow us to put furniture on top of eachother. And things (like tabletops) on top of other furniture as well (bookcases, etc).
