On behalf of players who weren't around for the Little Ladies' Day event back in 2015, please bring back the Eastern Cherry Trees. Whether it be through this year's Little Ladies' event, or through the Mogstation, please bring it back.
It is such a pretty tree and it's saddening that some of us can't get it because it's being sold for millions upon millions of gil.
And to those who whine about it losing it's exclusivity, who are also probably the ones selling it for 20+ mil: stop. Paying more for a tree than an actual house/plot is absolutely absurd.

Also I have a little pet peeve with a piece of furniture; why can't we put Lalafell merchants on the Lalafellin Step Stool? Like that makes no sense lol.

There's already a new version of it in the game files I believe (same item but different name), just have to wait for them to pop it on the mogstation probably around the time little ladies day starts again.

Whole-heartedly support this... if only because we asked for Oriental stuff, and they gave us a whole district, so maybe if we keep asking about Ishgardian furnishings, they'll give us a district there too eventually!

I would like an indoor decorative arch. Something a bit like the gateways are. Or a partition that has an open through way instead of a door. Or both lol

I think they can just modify the oriental sliding door partition. Just fill up the gap on top then change the sliding door into a sliding manor bookshelf or something.

It's not directly related, but since we are talking about spooky housing item in general, can we get a tiny carpet that can generate the ghostly hands from Dun Scaith when activated?

It's entirely possible that these two ideas have already been suggested, but I don't really have the time or energy to comb through 156 pages of suggestions to check. The first of these, I feel is sorely missing, and the second would just be a great feature to have given how beautiful the game is......

1) Some way to preview housing items before buying them. Anyone who's ever spent money on furniture knows that they can be quite expensive to buy off the MB. The problem is that right now we only have two options to view what furniture looks like, barring the tiny item image. Either buy it and then try to place it in your home/apartment, and hope that you can resell it to regain some of the cost if it doesn't look good. Or see someone else who has it/go looking around the internet to find a picture of the particular piece of furniture you're looking for. What we need is some way to do a preview for it from the marketboard/crafting menus, in the same manner that we can preview gear for our characters. I would also recommend having some sort of feature within the preview to show the scale of the item, such as showing our character model in the preview, or an apartment sized room.

2) Minion - Magitek Camera - A floating camera minion that you can summon and have follow you around. When you use the group pose, idle camera, or temporarily hide the hud, the minion becomes invisible, and allows you to press a button/key to allow you to take a special screenshot that can be used as an in game decoration. The idea behind this is simply that the game is beautiful, and many of us enjoy capturing moments from time to time. These moments would also make for great decorations to put up in our homes, because they're more personal memories than the standard paintings available in game. As for why a minion? The idea there is that it will make it so that the screenshots taken with it are directly from the game itself, rather than just whatever pictures the player has on their hard drive. This both prevents inappropriate images, as well as breaking immersion from the game by having images from other games/media. Some other possible ideas for it are including a limit of maybe 10-20 pictures taken that can be converted to paintings, in order to reduce data usage, and to have the actual "paintings" be acquired by speaking to the painter in Idylshire and paying him a small fee, (maybe 10k gil), to "commission" him to paint it. As for why a minion, and not simply an option in those to begin with? Well, two reasons, one is so that you have a button prompt visible so you know what to press to take the picture with, (mostly for players who wouldn't use the feature that often), but without it always being present when you simply want to take normal screenshots, and the second reason is just to add a bit of flavor and have it be immersion friendly.

We've seen some questions pop up since Fan Festival 2017 in Frankfurt where the new residential housing district, Shirogane, was revealed. We'd like to take some time to answer those questions here.

• Can anyone enter Shirogane if they enlist in a free company that has a house there?

  Yes, they can. Any free company member will be able to teleport to the free company house located in Shirogane, so don't forget to set up the miniature aetheryte in your yard! However, please note that players who do not meet the necessary conditions, such as those that haven't entered Shirogane on their own, or those who have not purchased Stormblood will not be able to exit the housing districts to reach the connected areas!

• How would one reach Shirogane on their own?

  You will need to progress in the Stormblood main scenario.

• How would one be able to purchase a plot or an apartment in Shirogane?

  You will need to progress in the Stormblood main scenario. However, as Yoshida mentioned during the keynote, we're planning to make the purchase of land and apartments in Shirogane available after some time has passed since Patch 4.0 release.

Thank you! Can we expect some more specifics about the moving feature soon as well? It would be nice if there was a way to get there via airship for those without the ability to teleport for things such as player driven events. Please relay that to the appropriate people!
