Hello all, this is a repeat of past suggestions and some new ones, very little has changed for housing sadly, imo the core of housing needs a huge huge boost to allow for player creativity and overall fun!!

    1. partitions that we can dye
    2. also add an option to the interior remodel UI "copy wallpaper to partitions" (per floor!) lol
    3. pillars that we can dye
    4. removal of destroyed furniture feature.
    5. increase item limits 2-3x for M and L homes (interior and exterior) needed for over a year + now!!..tick...tock Current # is ok for the basic home decorator but
for those that pay attention to detail, the current limits are extremely low)
    6. adjustment of lighting settings/floor.
    7. ability to construct/build items not just craft premade appearances.
    - overhaul ui to accommodate this
    - we all use exact furniture with placement as the only variation..very bland and toooo remedial!)
    8. ability to legally sell homes back to a game npc realtor for purchased price, 100% protects the buyer and the seller that way.
-sold homes would randomly reappear for purchase in the wards to avoid "planned resells")
    9. reclaimation should restore 100% of initial housing cost
    10. offer options to dye/stain the floor/ceiling/baseboards and staricases (the brown matches very little..so 1970s ~.o)
    11. addition of a few rugs of various shapes and sizes that we can dye.
    12. addition of a new feature: "lighting/glitter/sparkle" effects we can apply to any furniture piece AND any area of the yard/home
    - NOT via the addition of furniture pieces ie/spotlight..i mean just the additional effect of the lighting/sparkle etc on any item or area we choose.
    12. many furniture design requests in the thread and so many are awesome suggestions, ability for US to create anything would solve 99% those requests as we could build our own unique pieces.
    13. scaleable trees or addition of a few very large/ tall trees to mimic the ones we see in lav bed wards.
    14. trees that mimic different seasons, brilliant colored autumn trees (with falling leaf animation) heavy ladden snow covered trees (with clumps of snow falling off branches animation) etc,
    15. ability to change the entire yard ground cover from grass to rough rock, snow, sand, autumn leaves, patio stone, even smoldering lava...its endless, a wide variety to use with many creative themes players could come up with.
    16. allow us to bury any item into the walls, as far a we wish. the barrier/restriction of placing items "too close" to a wall or staircase should be removed completely!!
    17. allow us to leave minions inside homes and outdoors to roam about.

    18. addition of saved templates for exterior design, much like the current eatery, moogle designs but a created template that we can save and reuse for the short yearly event times.
this way we could easily alter the homes appearance to suit the current holiday without the need to spend billions to remake them (if they did exist)...

    19. ability to "frame" screenshots that we take to use as wall decorations

housing needs a heck of a lot more fun and a lot less gil sink only line of thinking.
less "slap on the wrists" for wanting variety and more lure to actually want to dive into housing and be able to create, I would prefer, for now, far less focus on fc perks and more on core design improvements!

** I would love to have saved templates of many themes, Easter, Valentines day, Christmas/winter, a spoooky ghost riddled haunted house for Halloween, Autumn theme, Fairy fantasy style theme etc **

Misty that's quite the list. Props for all the suggestions, even though I think a few are a little far fetched. Some changes don't seem like they would be that hard to implement though. You must spend a LOT of time decorating. I thought the little bit I did was a giant time sink but I'm also kinda special when it comes to designing stuff. I can't imagine how much time I would spend if I had ALL those options you have listed.

It would be neat if the amount of specialist disciple's of the hand affected what you can buy at the vendor in your specific housing ward. For example, if a housing ward had 50 armorer, and 50 blacksmith specialists then the vendor would sell NQ high mythrite nuggets for 80k each and is available to both residence and to visitors. You can even implement a residence bonus for people who live/own a house in the ward. Using the same example above, in addition to the NQ high mythrite nuggets you will also get NQ high mythrite ingots for 120k that is exclusive to residents only.

For those familiar with a game called white knight chronicles on the PS3, this is exactly where I got the idea from. The georama town building in that game is essentially what I had in mind.

It would also be amazing on a personal level. For example, if I am a BLM specialist I can buy several extra mats a my FC/Personal house material vendor.

I'd like to request a shorter version of the hat stand. It's not a realistic size for a Lalafell to use.

I'd like to request the rising pillar housing item be given a lighting source so it can act as a lamp post. After that I'd like to pilfer various parts of the rising event decor.

    Make this into a wallpaper:

Make a version of this for the perimeter wall:

And please make these into indoor lamps (with slight lighting source):

I'd like to request the removal (and no further use) of the stones underneath statues/fossils (ie the dinosaur skeleton). Most of the time I find these items used, someone's doing their best to hide the stones. For specifically the dinosaur set, if you try to position the items differently you'll end up with the stones at the base clipping and it doesn't look good.
