After making a little park area, I'd like to have more natural lighting options so how about a swarm of lightning bugs that move about for the yard.

Fireflies incoming! (source)

More "dark" furnitures, walls, lamps like VA. I want to make an haunted theme house but kinda hard at the moment

Are there any plans of placing a garden Orchestrion? I kinda wanna have a different tune once we enter the garden to match its theme. Probably hard to implement I know...
And since we got beach chairs, any plans to implement an outdoor pool or ground/sand terrain? Or more beach themed outdoor furnishings in general.

Probably most of this can't be done but oh well just for fun a bunch of random musings on things I would like to see for housing:
Lighting toggle for each floor separately. So if you wanted you could have the lights at 0 in the basement and say level 3 on ground floor; controlling each floor's lights separately.
A wash basin item for bathrooms or even kitchens. We do have a shower stand so a bathroom/kitchen sink might not be completely out of the question either I suppose. Wash basin is just a no indoor plumbing alternative.
Wall mounted and tabletop mirrors. Making them actually reflect might be difficult so I would settle for it just looking like a mirror. To hang in bathrooms/bedrooms.
Simple tabletop items like empty glasses/plates/silverware.
A guestbook (that can be placed inside or outside) where visitors can leave a message to say they stopped by. It could have a list of premade friendly greetings to choose from and signed by the characters name. Some examples like...
"I just stopped by to say hi!" -Miste Vaer
"I like your decorating style!" -Tifa Lockheart
"Come see my house too!" -Zidane Tribal
"Let's share housing ideas sometime!" -Summoner Yuna
The ability to toggle more lighting objects on/off. Some lamps are permanently on and cannot be toggled at all currently.
The ability to have the fireplaces either lit or unlit. Right now the fireplace is always lit, which is mostly fine just a random thought that if its summer or something you might not light it.
The ability to toggle the white arrow off of toggle objects. The house would look a lot nicer if you could turn these off. Its for people who already know which objects they can toggle you don't need the white arrow anymore as long as you can click on the object still its easy to check if you can interact with it or not.
The ability to dye wooden wall and flooring types. If its made out of wood there should be no problem with dyeing it since a lot of other wooden creations in the game you can dye. It would greatly increase our wall and flooring options by just having some more palette swaps which I think would be easier to do than whole new walls/flooring. You could even make the wallpapers dyeable too!
The ability to use different colour lights in the ceiling lights. Now I am not sure how to do this maybe being able to dye certain ceiling lights to make the light they emit a different colour. Either that or make different crafted versions with different colours. I notice some lights give off a yellowish glow, some are bright white, some are redish/orange, blue/purple for the shiva one. Sometimes I like the ceiling light a lot but the colour of light it gives off doesn't look good for the room its in because of the walls/flooring etc. Like personally I would love if the Star Chandelier could be changed to emit a bright white light instead of yellow.
More dark themed walls/flooring. There is a lack of darker style walls and flooring. Most of the walls and flooring choices are very vibrant/colourful and/or generally very light themed.
More object space for the lawn of the house. Small and Medium isn't too bad; mostly its enough object space to make the lawn seem fuller. The large house though you really have to use large objects too much to make the lawn look full and not so empty. I think it needs maybe 5-10 more spaces tbh. 40 is just a little bit too small.
Make the chronometers actually have an interaction menu where you can set a short alarm to go off at a certain Eorzea time (or even local time too). Choose to alert yourself for a gathering node or for local time it can be a "you've played too long go to bed now" alarm at midnight or "stop playing you have to get ready for work" alarm lol. Of course you'd have to actually be in your home to hear it.
The ability to move and/or add more ceiling lights.
More paintings that aren't portraits. Add more landscape or some still life paintings.
Access to the balcony in large houses. (There is a door already there for it and everything!)
Windows that you can actually see out of would be nice; I can see issues with it but....yeah it would be cool. Or also being able to open the windows to let more natural sunlight in during the day.
More outdoor garden type items like more different kinds of flower plots like the Lupin/Sunflower ones. Roses, lilies, tulips etc.
More oldrose colours.
If/when they add swimming a backyard with a pool....yeah probably not going to happen but it would be fun lol.
Or...maybe an INDOOR POOL?!

More garden patches, the deluxe parch doesn't fit at all with my exterior decorations
log-out in private chambers, inside your FC's house, like we can in the inn/hotel and receive the same exp bonus.
that was the only reason I bought a private chamber, only to find out that it's merely for fashion.
mildly disappointed
PS: I know this has been requested several times before, but this thread has become so big.
mention it one more time can't hurt.

We need fish tanks! I would kill to have a big beautiful fish tank in my home lighting up my life. I've already mentioned it in the feedback page, but seriously! I want so bad ;A; I imagine it to work like flower pots, but with fish!
The ability for characters to change their pose while in /doze would be wonderful. My Miqo'te lady certainly does not sleep with her legs popped up, propping her head in her hands, thank you.
EDIT: I imagine it should behave like /sit or the idle pose, where you can change between a number of postures. Sleep on left side, sleep on right side, sleep on back, sleep in that weird pseudo-superman-pose on your stomach kind of sideways with one leg crooked, etc. In hand with this, I'd like it if we could control whether our character's eyes are open or closed at given points.

Hammocks outside, so for once we can actually log out at the house without standing like wierdos on our lawns when we log back in xD
