Has there been any confirmation on house sharing?.. My girlfriend and I purchased the house together but still I have not been able to use even the stable.

Hi, Nashred. They have not implemented house sharing yet, but it has been confirmed. I am unable to find an official date for its implementation, but there's always the hope that it'll be soon.

House Sharing Feature
We'll be adding a system that will allow you to give furnishing and gardening rights to five people of your choosing.
Interior lighting feature
We'll be adding a furnishing that will allow you to adjust the brightness levels inside of your house.
Renaming Free Companies
We'll be making it possible to change the name of your free company. However, once doing this, you won’t be able to do it again for a set period of time.
Removal of Inactive Houses
We'll be adding a system that removes houses that are not in use. We’ll be announcing the criteria for removal in the future.

Now I mentioned this in the general discussion in a thread about the relinquishing of land that they announced. (Which I do think is needed). There is a couple of things I wish to be added that I am sure will free up more housing for all.
1: One personal house per account per server.
I have a personal house on my main and I do have an alt I get on from time to time that is on the same server. Now with this means my alt would not be able to by a house on Goblin. But if I want to play an alt on a different server, that is open to me. Just not on Goblin.
Reason for this suggestion. I know of a person on my server. Who on top of their main, has 2 alts. Each of them own a personal house (3 plots). Then he also has his own fc. Also with a house. (so 4 houses in total) When I've been on. I have not seen him do anything on his alts other than garden. It makes me sick on the inside that people can do this. When there is already limited housing to begin with.
2: Allow alts to share the personal house.
Okay this is to go with the alt. My main, or which ever character bought the house, they have the rights to it. However if I wish to teleport or access a few things, like vendors and the food, I can. It is already in the works to share your house with the one you bond with. Let me do the same with my alt.
100% agree with both of those suggestions.
I think this would make a larger change in the housing dilemma than most people realize. I would go so far as to say make the above changes, back-date it and put all items from alt character houses on the Resident Caretaker. However, back-dating would open up the issue about how SE would know which house a player wants to keep (if they have 1 for each alt). :/
Well, about the guest book being filled by RMT spam - I imagine that could be a thing. It would require spam bots to actually move and walk into houses and such to do it though. It could be a crafted thing that you make or buy and then place by the door inside your house. So you could choose not to have one, messages could be deleted from it, and ultimately you can always set your house to private or just not have the guest book out in the house. I think there needs to be some reason to visit peoples houses... I like seeing peoples houses, but always feel like a creeper when they happen to be inside. It's like... Hello there, I'm just going to run around your house and silently judge the decisions you've made...
Couple of things I would love to be able to put in my house or yard ^_^

Hey everyone,
While we can't say too much, we did want to let our housing enthusiasts know that the dev. team is currently planning to add job-related housing items in Patch 3.1. Stay tuned and keep your suggestions coming!

Long straight counters, maybe half the length of what is pictured below. It would also be nice to have them in the same styles of the countless corner counters we have.
Sorry the image is so dark, but this is inside of Hawthorne Hut. It would be nice to have long versions of the counter on the left and also the counter with a basin in the middle.
More partition options:
- Pre-made partition/half partition and pillar combos (to help ease furniture usage)
- Half-width Oasis/Riviera/Glade partitions and half partitions
- Double-width Oasis/Riviera/Glade partitions and half partitions (again to save on using furniture allotments)
- Low height Oasis/Riviera/Glade partitions, which are basically partitions equalling the height and appearance of the base paneling in each respective house
- Double-width mahogany partition, as pictured below (so one double partition would take one slot versus two)
- This partition, minus the bench in front:

I've been meaning to mention such an idea myself. Either ceiling drapes like you've shown, or a special "canopy drape" frame to place around a bed or lounge location. I can imagine a generic white that could interact to match the lighting within the room. They could also use different shape/style/colors for each nation; Yellow for Gridania, Red for Limsa, Blue for Ul'dah, and maybe one for Ishgard?
They could use the same themes as above to create a partition like the Oriental Partition that isn't solid. Such as a nation themed frame with a partially transparent drape filling it. Even a drawn curtain doorway would be a nice aesthetic.
