Yea, SE has forgotten that games are sources of enjoyment and shouldn't be some kind of experiment in forced cohesion with strangers. If things aren't working out, someone else in the party is being a jerk/not trying, or one simply needs to take a short break and decides to be courteous by not forcing everyone to wait on them, they're hit with an extreme penalty for leaving. It is killing the game for me. Ideally there should be no penalty whatsoever, but if by some misplaced attempt to placate a vocal minority they must institute some kind of lockout, make it logical - like 5 minutes.
