SE we don't need to face target to Heal!!

Every time when I run a dungeon I have to change my setting of auto
face target when casting. It's annoying. Please we don't need to face the target to heal.
When I'm running away from AOE or the mobs I need to keep running and heal.
I don't want to suddenly face back because I healed someone, and resulting running backward and running into an AOE and get killed.

Change the "facing target while casting" and make it apply only to DPS please!

If you are targeting something, yes you should face to them.

Anything that can't be targeted, then yes. You can face any direction.
Just like dps can't swing their weapons behind them, you need to do the same to person who you are healing.

Actually I don't need to face the target when I heal. It's the switching setting whenever I need to heal that is annoying.

If I solo I usually turn on facing target automatically, but when I am doing a dungeon, I turn it off.

it's the on and off thing I dont want to do all the time, so why don't SE just change it to auto facing target only when your DPSing

I healed more than 5 years in WOW i never had to face the target when I heal. there is no such thing as facing target to heal.
Moreover, PVP won't work if you do that.

it messes with your direction while running

The solution to this is macros.
Turn off the settings to face target, set a macro for all your attack spells with a /ft.
Now you have attack spells that face the enemy when used and heals that dont.

I've never been able to. When people run behind me my cast gets interrupted. Same thing for when I use my dps skills. If an enemy is moving towards something and it gets past me then it always interrupts.

A suggestion is to try switching to legacy on your camera settings. It may take some getting used to, but you'll be able to run in whichever direction you want.

yea macro would do, but if only SE can change it I don't need to make macros for every spell and legacy camera I tried I'm not used to it , makes my head feel dizzy when I do that

You have two solutions, but you don't want to use any because you're lazy to change a setting, or get dizzy using legacy.

As a matter of fact, yes!

and I don't need to change setting or make macros because of this when I play WOW, so yes I'm asking SE to change this. if you have any objection make another thread to say SE plz don't make any change.

Maybe in your eyes, I'm lazy. However in my opinion, the best solution is for SE to make a change, not their customers.
A good programer should make his program suit users' convenience, not the reverse.

This is ridiculous. "a good programmer" as you put it creates the game systems with a certain feel in mind and does what they can to make it accessible to as many people as possible without destroying the original design intent. What you are suggesting isn't necessary because the settings to accomplish what you want in the game are there, you just don't want to use them because its not the exact solution that YOU want which is ridiculous. People like you need to realize that while every player should push a company to deliver a quality product that can be enjoyed by the masses, they don't have the right to dictate to that company every infinitesimal detail of that game. If a system is clearly broken or could benefit from a quality of life improvement (being able to right click and blacklist for example) then it is reasonable, but this level of entitlement you seem to have about a minute detail of a system that already accommodates your need is ludicrous.

You are more than welcome to play WoW if there design choices better suit you and you feel that they better address your entitlement issues. I'm not saying if you don't like something GTFO as all games could benefit from improvements to systems (take scholar pet behavior as another example), but when its this petty I can't think of a better solution for you.
