Limit Break Death!?!

So... I havn't downed titan yet due to various reasons... Last night i joined a PUG titan HM group... We actually got him to 8% on our first try... I go in to use my LB Level 3 (dragoon) and omg i finally killed titan HM!?!?!?!?

Haha nope, somehow i was killed during the final animation of my LB so no damage was registered, but all the LB bars were emptied...

Anyone else think this is a bit of bullshit?

Oh yeah and group wiped at 4%....

Yeah, they really need to fix how things are consumed when they don't go off (i.e. Benediction will be "used" even though it doesn't heal the target; Limit breaks get "used" even when they do no damage; other defensive cooldowns "used" even though they have no impact).

Aye that's really annoying how often this game "Uses" things without them actually taking effect. Never known this to happen in other MMO's that I've seen.

It's a very weird system, have you guys noticed for example if you're hit by an ability or not is depend on where you were standing at the end of the cast finishing, and then damage is applied at the end of the cast animation? So if you stood in a spell with a very long cast animation you'd still be hit by it no matter how far you run. On the other hand it's possible to walk back into attack animations as long as you were out of the effect once the cast bar finishes. I'm not sure if I have a problem or not with the way LB works, it feels like you have to be very careful when you're about to use it which can be a good thing.
