New Hyur hairstyle?

Out of all the races, why did SE choose Roegadyn to be the first race with new hair? Was it a scheme to encourage more players to roll one since they are currently the least played race?

Oh really? I assumed everyone got at least one new hairstyle seeing as lalafell, miq, highlander, roe, and elezen all got new ones.

I think they just gave us the lightning ones otherwise they just expanded the options to include hairstyles from other races if I'm not mistaken, the only real new ones I believe are for Roe
