Who here actually likes seeing there Win to Lose ratio in pvp?

Personally I really dislike this feature, I’m a perfectionist and having loses on my character puts me off wanting to play PvP because often you can’t help what happens in a team environment.

I would rather there was no performance record on my menu, how do you guys feel about it?

I don’t really want to know how many wins and loses I have, it becomes too competitive also, I just want to enjoy it without feeling like I am being constantly tested and recorded.

I will say I enjoy the commendation feature tho, personally I think thats enough.

I know no one else can see our PvP performance but yeah.
I kind of just wish it wasn't there at all, it's a permanent mark on my character.. It's kind of .. annoying.

I'll also add that PvP is extreamly gear based and often you are outmatched if you que in with randoms.
Another problem I have with it is this, I need to win to earn my PvP equipment so get my wins so forth but there are plenty of players out there who already have some of there PvP lvl 50 gear and there just dominating everyone.

I feel discouraged by the record placed on my character especially knowing I may need to lose many more times before I can get my gear and start wining more often.
The players who are wining all the time now tho just continue to get more powerful while everyone else just rakes up an ugly score.

I don't normally care if I win or lose it doesn't bother me but when there is a record there in your face it kind of makes you care about it.
I'd rather not care or feel like everything ia a competition when all I'm trying to do is have fun, rank up and earn points.

The score makes it feel like a competition and random que'd PVP should not be treated as ranked matches.

How about this instead of how it is now.
.How about in set matches it keeps record of wins/loses but in random que matches it doesn't keep record.
That way those who are just trying to improve there ranks in pvp can do so without worrying about it effecting there profile and just have fun, while those who are really competitive can compete in the set team matches.

Random matches become normal without applying wins/loses "unranked match"
and Set teams become "Ranked Matches"

Right now people are abusing the random matches and queuing in with 3 people anyway so it's only fair that this type of match isn't competitive and doesn't keep record.

I would prefer if it just said victories on it. Although allowing to see how many matches total you played to victories is a form of win/loss it is a bother to me as well because as you said you have no real control over the team you get dealt.

Or this, I would be perfectly happy if instead of showing how many games you've won out of a total amount played it instead only showed your win total.
THIS I would really enjoy alot more, I would feel encouraged to try and earn more wins while at the same time won't feel bad about losing because it won't be (IN MY FACE).

Right now the score displayed feels like an annoying child pointing and laughing at you saying haha you lost.
Dose this make me want to keep playing PVP? No not really.

When it comes to the MMORPG world of Final Fantasy I just want to enter and play without having the added stress of weather or not I'll have another win or loss on my profile.

The only person who can see your win/lose ratio is you (correct me if I'm wrong on that). Instead of being intimidated by your own shadow, why not use it as a gauge to see how you're improving? Otherwise, if you don't like it then either don't look at it or don't lose.

Exactly. My overall win/lose ratio is pretty bad but my weekly ratio has gotten better since PvP came out. Its encouraging for me!

I'm not bothered by losing I just don't like it in my face on my profile and I enjoy PVP when it's not recorded "For the fun of it, not because I think or want to be better than everyone and worry about having a better score."

But the fix is extremely simple- do not look at your win/loss record.

It's not a big deal imo.

I'd like to see it record and graph the week-to-week ratio, among other stats, though they wouldn't be an accurate means of gauging your performance until you're fully geared out.

When you do it with random teammates assembled from different worlds. It should not count.

That way people can play, have FUN, build up marks for gear and practice.

I absolutely agree 100% with you that would solve the problem I have with it completely.

It would be like having two matches, one unranked and one ranked for those who want to compete.

All the PVP profiles should be reset and those rules applied, it's a great idea for sure.

I like it. Besides, you'll still know you lost regardless of a record or not.
