the duty roulette is a feature added to help players whom do not have access to full group by enticing players with rewards for helping them out - and by helping out, that means you dont get to choose what YOU want to do since you are helping someone else out with what THEY need to do...and if there is no one in need at the time, then players are given RANDOM duties by the game - if players want SPECIFIC duties, all they need do is select the SPECIFIC duty they wish instead of using the RANDOM feature...

It doesn't seem nearly as 'random' as it should be. But I think that might ultimately be because there's a lot of people leveling battle classes that are <30 right now, and thus the pool the game has to pick from is much smaller. Even still, this doesn't remedy the fact that the EXP I'd lose for doing more than 1 random low-level dungoun a day, is far less than than doing multiple on-level dungouns and getting full combat exp. The point of the Duty Roulette isn't to be 'random', it's to entice people to play more than one dungoun. Unfortunately, the one-time bonus means that you will only do exactly that - one time, then you're done.

TL;dr: Random is Random. But **** copperbell mines.
