    Dear Duty Roulette:

Stop giving me Copperbell Mines, Satasha, and any other <20 instance at level 40. I get that it's 'low level', but seriously, I'm getting sick of seeing the mines on my tanks. At this rate, I am better off running on-level instances since the reward EXP at the end of Copperbell + fight EXP is equal to the amount of EXP I get for clearing Dzamel Darkhold. -.-

I have the same issue, but I always see someone in range so I assume they picked it.

Interestingly, most the time I see people in Artifact armor / relic+1 weapon running it. Just the last party I did had everyone synched down to 20, so there must've been some better dungoun it could've chosen. =/

oh I see plenty of high level types in there two, but always someone in range, or who seems to be there on purpose.

You could always run the low level duty roulette with a low level class...

Sadly, the only one below level 40 is monk for me, and I promised I would only level monk for 5 levels every 20 lb's I lose in real life. <_< (Just because I think it'd amuse me while I'm dieting / doing kickboxing), so that's not much of an option for me. D:

the 'worst' I've seen was a few hours ago when I did Tam Tara and everyone was in the lvl 20+ range. I randomly chatted about it, and funny enough (I must have missed it at the start) one of the dps was actually only at that part of the story (lvl 24 - though I can't say much. my lowbie char I started about a week ago is lvl 28 now and just finished Ifrit. heh)

apart from that every time I had a starter dungeon it was indeed because someone was in the level range. even with 'fully duty roulette' runs it's not always sastascha as it was claimed on this forum before. I had a full duty finder group end up in Ifrit a few times. lol -.-

the duty roulette is a feature added to help players whom do not have access to full group by enticing players with rewards for helping them out - and by helping out, that means you dont get to choose what YOU want to do since you are helping someone else out with what THEY need to do...and if there is no one in need at the time, then players are given RANDOM duties by the game - if players want SPECIFIC duties, all they need do is select the SPECIFIC duty they wish instead of using the RANDOM feature...

The XP Given at the end makes it like if I ran a higher one without the bonus.

While your liberal use of caps is amusing, it does sorta ignore the point that a lot of people I've met are also getting tired of Copperbell mines.

It doesn't seem nearly as 'random' as it should be. But I think that might ultimately be because there's a lot of people leveling battle classes that are <30 right now, and thus the pool the game has to pick from is much smaller. Even still, this doesn't remedy the fact that the EXP I'd lose for doing more than 1 random low-level dungoun a day, is far less than than doing multiple on-level dungouns and getting full combat exp. The point of the Duty Roulette isn't to be 'random', it's to entice people to play more than one dungoun. Unfortunately, the one-time bonus means that you will only do exactly that - one time, then you're done.

TL;dr: Random is Random. But **** copperbell mines.
