How is Summoner parsing?

According to a friend parsing garuda extreme the other day I did the most damage overall combining mine and Garuda-egi's damage. But parsers still just guess and do weird stuff to figure what our damage might be

Finally off my 2-week forum ban(thanks Kalandros), but I wanted to comment on this because it's been said a few times.

I don't know who started it, but this is false.

Spell Speed always worked with Garuda, it's just that pet tooltips were not set up in a way that allowed us to visually see that.

1. There was no buff
2. One extra wind blade per 25 casts isn't that big a deal. Spellspeed still sucks

@Neon saving 2 aether for bane/fester when you can is great for gaols

The sad part is, a lot of Summoners don't even realize our egi's have been adjusted. I've had many posts before talking about it and they keep telling me, "How is it a buff when they did nothing to the egi" Anyone who says that does NOT know their own class and how it works. OR they use obey all the time so the egi higher damage doesn't show.

To add some more clarity since you seem to have missed Kevee's post, tooltips were updated to show the affect of spell speed and having your pet on Obey (Garuda) is still higher dps than letting them use all their abilities with the default Sic AI. The default attack is their most potent ability still.

edit: Ifrit does more DPS on Sic since Crimson Cyclone functions as an oGCD skill unlike Garuda's skills. But it has Stun so it becomes an issue on certain fights.
