I'd have to agree with this. I don't know if I'd call it a "nerf" to make the stats actually work properly so that an ARC is best utilized as a ranged DD instead of something that can tank. I have no problem with whatever class doing big damage, I just want a chance to keep hate against that and be a damage sink like a tank is intended to. I find no fun in turning my class into a melee DD/tank class when obviously when I chose GLA I did it because I like to optimize defense and hate management. The idea of ability swapping isn't to completely undermine what a class does, just to optimize your class to however you like to play its style. I realize that being an optimal tank may not make any difference in play with the current cake content, but I'd like to hope that with battle revamps and future content, skillful and strategic play will be the focus, and an ARC will want to be a ranged DoW who can do as much damage as they can to contribute, not some sort of self-healing melee tank who does big damage. It works, and you can use it, I don't care, but saying it's intended is just ridiculous.
