Obviously not everyone is the same. If you want my opinion, 14 will head more towards the 11 direction than WoW direction based on what we have so far. Use intelligent decisions and go do things that you find fun.
Hey, I find both WoW and FF14 very good - and very flawed. I am alternating them now - WoW is my "serious" game where I want to be badass, and FF14 is my "casual" game which I play to immerse in the pretty landscapes. So I plan to do a lot of FATES, dungeons, crafting, beast quests, etc. Titan may go to Hell, and stay there. His landscape sucks. :P
