I would love that fight tbh.Difficult content is important for the health of the game, no matter why it's difficult, instant kill mechanics or not. Still, I do find myself wishing the fights were a bit easier. They are very stressful and I wonder where the game is heading. Next year: Leviathan super mega EXTREME! A ten hour fight and you can't screw up once or you DIE! I mean, some of us get a great sense of satisfaction when we beat these fights. Oh wait, did I say satisfaction? I mean relief. Relief that we won't have to do the fight again and can continue on with the story. Except... now someone in our FC needs it. Damn it. Here we go again. Better take my blood pressure meds

The "elites" are self entitled because they have gotten so use to working with server lag, they think it is "normal" and it keeps the "scrubs" off their game.
Hint: Your wrong, and you are the minority. Shocking, I know... I hope us"casuals" ruin this game for you, because honestly, the forums and the in-game community would be a lot less toxic with you gone.

If only you'd said 'slap in the face' at some point, this would have been a pretty high Bad Post Bingo score. It's like reading forums from XIV:1.0.

I play with people at the edges of the NA datacenter's intended coverage area (west coast US and Europe) and we all dodge on reaction, not prediction, so your theory is flawed. I also don't call anyone a "scrub" and have no interest in seeing "casuals" driven out of the game. I don't think all the content in the game needs to be casual-friendly, though, nor do I think all the content in the game should be hardcore. I think there needs to be a variety. I understand that you don't want to deal with mechanics you find frustrating, and that's fine. The answer to that is to simply not do the fights you don't enjoy. Don't do Titan Extreme. It's as easy as that. You can even buy ilvl90 accessories and weapons using tomes, so you're not missing out on gear. The content is there for the people who do enjoy it or are willing to do what it takes to complete it and be rewarded for doing so.The "elites" are self entitled because they have gotten so use to working with server lag, they think it is "normal" and it keeps the "scrubs" off their game.

You apparently only want the game to have content that's fun for you, and you want people who enjoy other things to be driven out. I want the game to have a variety of content that meets both of our interests. I don't expect everything to be enjoyable to me, and quite a lot of it is not, and that's fine. Which of us is really acting "entitled" here?
I will take the time to write out a more proper response to your post as it is very well written out and not completely condescending like others on this forum, but I'm sorry to say that your response is somewhat flawed. Once you fight Titan so many times, you are playing off prediction, not reaction. Why? Cause it is a 100% scripted fight, and people will eventually start to memorize the moves in some form, even if they cannot call it out themselves perfectly. If the extreme mode content is made for the minority crowd, it should not be so easily accessible via Duty Finder for a casual to jump into. It should of been handled in the same manner as the Binding Coil, or like in FFXI; where it is either your in a HNM linkshell, or not. It was pretty much cut and dry on which content was made for which group.I play with people at the edges of the NA datacenter's intended coverage area (west coast US and Europe) and we all dodge on reaction, not prediction, so your theory is flawed. Right, and above all we would get fewer "lectures" on how we should play the game or else return to WoW (by the way, I don't need to return as I am still playing it). It's like reading forums from XIV:1.0.

Hmm, Titan HM & EX fights are hands down one of the very best any MMO ever offered IMHO. No matter how geared I'm the fight is always serious and intense. The music, the mechanics are all just pure awesome. Honestly, they are only second to Twintania in term of "fun" time IMO. I live in Australia and play with 400+ ping, many times I died due to the stupid lag yet still was able to sell tens of Titan HM and already selling Titan Ex. Best part about it? it never ever did get boring.
This whole statement is sad. The simple fact that people have to buy a clear to "CLEAR" very low ilvl content should say wonders. The fight isn't balanced to where its fun to make strategies and advance. If you compare twin to titan, twin has just as many instant kill mechanics. But in no phase if one person dies is it almost impossible to come back. Titan relies on not only the persons "skill" but challenges how fast you can move out of the next instant kill move.Hmm, Titan HM & EX fights are hands down one of the very best any MMO ever offered IMHO. Lets be realistic here. If every fight was made the same as titan's, would you play? I'll be the first to admit I would unsub in a instant. It relies too heavily on connection and can you dodge it? good, can you dodge this? good, can you dodge this with this? Ok, can you dodge this and this and this with bombs and adds then this and this. Oh wait healer died? Other healer can't solo heal it because there not full i90? Well damn run's over. Give me a break, this fight was bs in hard mode and just a step in the wrong direction.
