This is the nature of the beast, and there is no other way to do difficulty.
And therein lies the challenge and difficulty. It is not a new concept in MMOs, nor will it pass anytime soon. Stuff on the ground, move out of the way. Its simple really, and you can somewhat predict it's pattern or at the very least know when it might occur. The difficulty isn't in the individual but the team as a whole to coordinate the pattern.
Same with needing enough DPS to burn a node before a wipe mechanic pops. Its simple gear check.
