Titan Extreme is NOT Fun

I'm not talking about multiplayer games, I'm talking about old school Nintendo games and such.

To elaborate I love the fight, is it frustrating at times though? Yes. I live in Australia and whether or not I survive can be a crap shoot, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, I don't think the fight is too hard at all it's just memorizing patterns and hoping the server actually considers you out of aoe when you are.

Comparing a game that relies on a high speed internet connection to games that are actually hard and do not rely on an internet connection is asinine though.

FF14 is competitive? That is news to me? I thought it was a casual MMORPG game. In fact that is the whole reason why I got it.

Where did the competition come in. For that matter, where did the ACTION aspect come in.

I have never played a FF game that action/reflects is a major part of the game still Titan..... Cannot even say FF14 ARR, because it is seriously only Titan.

I am fine for making it harder. But such twitch game play is not making it hard, it is just trolling.

just keep doing it if u really wanna clear it. u'll eventually get lucky and get in a decent party. or if u want to progress faster. make a static. just a thought.

unless u have a really bad connection, this fight is easy. if u faill because ur party fails, then find better team mates. if ur failing cuz u keep dying. keep practicing. its not even twitch response if u know the fight. if ur still relying on twitch and too slow about it then u definitely need to put more time into the fight

What I meant was as soon as you bring a game online it relies on your connectivity. No arguing around that. I put competetive in brackets btw.
FF14 is full of casual content complaining that the content which isn't meant to be casual is cheap is just silly.

I don't know about Battletoads and Cave Story, but those other games punished you for your own mistakes and your own mistakes only, not the mistakes of yourself and 7 other people combined.

Ever try the Wii version of SMBs? Frustrating? Yes because I have no control over my teammate(s) bouncing on my head and throwing me into lava. Was it fun? Yeah it was: especially after we beat some of the harder levels.

On Titan Ex, you do rely on other players. But your success is often determined by the success of the individual and not the group. Ex) One person gets landslided off and the 7 others do not. That one person happened to be a healer or tank? Time to wipe it up and start again. You try again and this time two DPS are landslided off. Wipe it up and start again.

Real emphasis on individual play to win. This is what I think many people have issues coming to terms with. You are used to being able to recover or used to people being able to take up the slack of other individuals. In fights like Twin and Titan Ex, you cannot rely on your other members as much as you used to. Result? You need to play pretty well.

Totally agree.

This fight demands each player to be attentive and familiar with the fight. It's not made for those who want easy win, are impatient or have low cognition. If you make a mistake, you become that awkward player who gets everyone wiped and most likely gets booted for it.

I have to say that when I first did Titan Ex, I thought it was a bit difficult but after many wipes and 2 weeks + later, I can dodge all of his abilities pre / post heart phase 99% of the time. I think the fight is very fun and I enjoy it very much. However I have yet to beat Titan. Most of the time, people would die during the pizza wheel in heart phase or get hit by bombs after heart phase. I am on a JP server and I have been doing almost all my Titan fights through DF. There are lots of Titan Ex parties on the server with almost all of the saying JP Only. The fun factor is slowly wearing off as I keep seeing people die in the fights. > <

just a tip. copy paste hello in japanese when joining jp only parties. thats all u need lol. they basically just want u to understand what they say. so google translate and respond with a simple yes no
