    I actually prefer to do primals outside my static, I know that sounds masochistic but I enjoy the triumph of beating them with rag tag groups and minimal communication. It took a lot of runs but I got a couple of Titan Ex wins and even beat Ifrit in DF. DF for Ex primals is surprisingly competent as I imagine only the brave care to venture though I am sure that will change with time. Plus it gives me a tough goal every week, I don't think I will win Titan Ex every week in pugs but that is fine with me.

    It's fun with competent players, however, most of the time I've done it - there's always that awkward one or two players that die in phase 1 or 2 just before the heart phase... Then it just goes downhill from there and people start ragequitting lol.

    Ultima is more fun with a duty finder group because you actually stand a chance. Easier to get players revived as well.

    Titan hm is only fun if you have a competent group so that means not possible in duty finder unless you hit the jackpot and get in with players who know the fight and queued together.

    Ultima is definitely fun in PF groups, though I think we can all agree that Garuda Ex "farm" parties are the WORST. Ugh such a long fight and so fragile, get 90% into the fight and have one small mistake it is a wipe. At least in Titan people get in tough situations or make a bad judgement call, in Garuda it is just a long drawn out fight with several ways to wipe the party.

    garuda is painfull long , i guess SE doubled the HP just because...

    Can someone tell me what a tank and healer should do during the adds phase? I've seen the main tank doing Titan die during the adds phase constantly in pug games. Is he supposed to pop a cooldown? Or is the healer not healing him fast enough?

    Yeah the main tank will get 2 Mountain Buster around the adds period, so it's very important to keep tank topped, which is tricky because healer also need to dodge bombs + landsides. But healer should have time to top everyone up before the bomb appear, and also give tank a single heal after landslide appear and before run off to dodge bombs.

    Healers and all range DPS should go to 6'oclock. DPS should not attack until the offtank has hate on both adds (4-5 seconds). Range + healers should stay at 6'oclock to bait the landslide, moving to 5'oclock bomb. After the 6'oclock bomb explodes, immediately go back to where that bomb was (before your five o'clock bomb goes off). That's the easiest strategy and what my farm group does.

    The DPS and healers know where to position, but I'm asking about the tank/healer strategy for that portion.
