Why is this here?

Because the topic obviously deserves some discussion and the so called "strat" isn't all that legit as some people try to convince themselves. The fact alone, that there's a thread with 27 pages of discussion shows that this method is more or less a grey zone. If the strat was that legit, no one would even discuss it. Did anyone discuss if doing it the regular way is legit? Can't remember to ever have seen such a topic.
