My point is that if ppl just burned through the mechanics would you still have the same prob... say a grp of all i90 that takes 1 tank 1 heal and 6 dps and just burn the shit out of it before any mechanics really matter,, I just dont see how healing through it is an exploit but taking mechanics from a boss by burning through it isnt.

You don't kill a boss fast enough to avoid one rot rotation, one laser line, or one ballast.

No matter how much DPS you bring, you are going through at least one of those.

Beyond that, dealing with additional monsters doesn't mean killing them. If the tank can tank them, if the dps can kite them, that's dealing with them.

I wasn't trying to really say you could kill him before he does any abilities, my point was that im sure you probably could do it passing the rot maybe 2-3 times....I guess I don't really consider the others to be real mechanics because they are just renamed forms of the same things you have already been dodging since about lvl 15, same as I don't really consider a tail swipe or a cleave a mechanic. I guess it could be called that but if you are having trouble avoiding those moves it's hard for me to believe you have made it to turn 2 and up to ADS anyways. ROT is the only "real" mechanic in the fight, if you are having trouble w/ any of the other "mechanics" you should probably practice in some low level duty roulette more first.
