I heard turn 2 was hard and a exploit was needed to kill it.
Well, apparently you guys read bullet point 3 and ignored 1, 2, and 4. There are worse consequences to allowing this method than "scrubs get more easy gear". And that is that it unbalances the jobs looking for T4 groups.
You're barking up the wrong tree. You can thank people selling titan/relic wins. The people selling coil and who will sell Ex primals.

I agree. They needed something like a solo encounter with fight mechanics on the level of Titan hm to properly gate coil. Being able to run someone through an encounter to the point where they don't need to do anything really isn't helpful.
But it really isn't the problem either. most of the people in coil were not run through Titan hm while twiddling their fingers. Only a small portion of the community could ever afford the payed Titan wins or have a group willing to run them through easy mode.

If you're not in a static, then that's your problem. My static does the rage strat simply because its less of a headache. and we do t1 - t4 all in one night. I dont have a problem with any of the stuff that was mentioned in this thread other than hearing a bunch of titty whiners not willing to do what it takes to make sure you are prepared to run coil in the first place.
Auron: Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

So your real concern is not abuse and cheating, its the elimination of one tank slot from groups, meaning your slot. Considering how the majority of tank players in this game acts, one less primadonna is a blessing.

"Cry Havoc and Lets Slip The Dogs of War"
You seem to be forgetting that a majority of the FFXIV community thought that sleeping Conflags on Twintania was an intended mechanic.
Honestly, the average skill level of players on FFXIV is extremely low compared to other MMOs (particularly World of Warcraft). I don't know why this is, but as a result, they're going to lobby around any sort of exploit that makes encounters manageable for their lack of skills/reaction speed.
Not true in the slightest. WoW has plenty of bad players and they have their fair share of people who'll exploit anything they can find.
The difference is that they have 12 million people (or they did, I know know anymore) compared to our 600 thousand people. If, maybe, 1% of players from each game were good players we would have 6 thousand good players and WoW would have 120 thousand good players. You're obviously going to see more good players in WoW than you would in FFXIV simply because they have more players.
The majority of exploit abusers are just impatient people who can't be bothered taking 20 minutes to do a dungeon, so abuse exploits so it takes 15 minutes instead. The MMO space is an extremely competitive one. We race to get the best gear and highest levels in order to not fall behind, it just so happens that the majority of MMO players grew up believing you couldn't complete GTA without the Health cheat, so they're too accustomed to cheating to get what they want.
Not to mention WoW's combat is so simple in comparison to FFXIV. You just stand there doing nothing with little space for error the majority of the time compared to something like Titan.
