I am not sure why it is rude exactly?
Is it offensive in some way, are you people offended by drag queens?

A drag queen isn't a expression of yourself, technically. It is just a guy who dresses as a girl for different reasons.
    Mostly entertainment purposes.

I see you have never met a real life drag queen before.

im sure different strokes for different folks, but, generally speaking: A drag queen is a man who dresses, and often acts, like a caricature woman often for the purpose of entertaining. There are many kinds of drag artists and they vary greatly, from professionals who have starred in films to people who just try it once. Drag queens also vary by class and culture and can vary even within the same cities. There are drag artists of all genders and sexualities who do drag for various reasons or purposes.

I'm not a nine foot tall frost giant IRL, and I'm willing to bet good money that you aren't either.
Playing as one in a video game doesn't mean I'm attempting to pass myself off as a "nine foot tall frost giant queen" or anything.

It means that visually and thematically, that is the type of character that appealed to me. Same thing generally applies to people that play characters of opposite gender to their own IRL.

Avatar in a fantasy video game =/= reflection of idealized self/glimpse into the deepest desires of the player/surrogate for gender or body issues.

Avatar in a fantasy video game = looks frickin' sweet in that armor, let's roll.
