    As for your idea, I call it fluff because it's just there for no reason other than the fact it is. Now if you would have said to make a mini game similar to FFXII Hunts then you have something to work with.

    Yeah.
    There's a world of difference between having powerful mobs being where they are for the sake of warding/guarding/presenting challenge then there is for just slapping them into the scenery to send someone to an early grave when going to the grocery store.

    These days if they do go the "beware the monsters" route, they tend to limit it to one big badass thing prowling the zone.
