    First person camera view immersion

I know it's not a huge deal, I'm not sure how many people play in First person view any way, but I just thought it would be cool if while playing in first person camera view instead of it just being a POV from nothing, if you could see the arms, hands and weapons of your character, (like in skyrim I suppose) and if you look directly down you could see your stomach legs and feet, It would add a whole new level of immersion (atleast for me). if SE ever reads this, I hope they take it into account because I think it'd be fun, especially when the occulus rift comes out and if FFXIV becomes compatible with such a device I think it would be exciting to play in an online world feeling as though your right behind the characters eyes.

In Skyrim and most other FPS games your arms are much higher on your body and your character fights by holding his arms super high so he can see them :P. I wouldn't mind being able to look down at the body or something, but that's a ton of work they'd have to put in and it would also get really difficult when it came to a lot of armor sets. Not to mention things like Darklight where you can't even move your head..

I see what your saying and yes, that would be a lot of work,
But I don't think any of that would be necessary, couldn't they just create a new camera that sits directly in front of the characters head, so that in the periphery of your vision you could see parts of your body, no extra assets would be required, just adjust the placement of the camera without hiding the graphics? I don't know if that is possible. but I don't see why not
It wouldn't have the same effect as skyrim or other fps games though, it would be POV.
another cool thing, when your riding on your mount, wouldn't it be cool to see the chocobo or couerl or goodbue or flying eye or behemoth or so on and so on right underneath you, so its more like your actually sitting on your mount and not just floating around above nothing.
haha could be just me but I'd like that.
