Idea for new Duty Finder content.

Dungeon exp being boosted was a nice change, but I still think SE Could do one better.

Create 10 new instanced areas. But unlike dungeons, make each a small sectioned area of an actual zone.

Pack them with hard dungeon worthy trash and nothing else.

Then let us que for them in groups of 4 or 8 for the sole purpose of Exp Partying. We que up, join the instanced area for level 30-35 then strategically tackle mobs in the area to chain exp and level up.

    15-20
    20-25
    25-30
    20-35
    35-40
    40-45
    45-50

So 7 actually since the first dungeon is at 15.

No, not fates. Areas to exp grind, like an FFXI exp party, but in the DF and with no competition.

So, basically, I think what he means is to... put fates in the duty finder list ?

More like the OP is actually describing Guildhests - they take place in an instanced section of a particular zone, often feature trash mobs you have to kill before the main objective appears, and you have to do it in a party. The only difference to what the OP wants is they're rather short, but then there's nothing stopping you doing the same Guidlhest over and over again. So yeah, what you're after is already in the game really.

Open Dungeons in FFXI were awesome. Massive areas with difficult mobs.

I'd like to have dungeons where multiple parties could go (they can work together or not) fight a variety of mobs in a kind of labyrinth with no set position of mobs or set phases. Treasure chests will be scattered randomly (loot value in accordance to surrounding mob level)

The mobs would be more difficult the further in you got with the end being mobs at boss level without the restraints of a set boss room. You'll have to watch for links and there'll be no set routine to do it.

Like an actual adventure. With worthwhile ridiculously rare loot that won't be like "Accessories are down this corridor" "Tank boots drop here" etc.
