Yoshi-p Writing a Regular Column on Famitsu

Looks like starting today Yoshi-P has a regular column on Famitsu, which is actually quite amazing, since just three years ago no one knew who he was.

It's definitely a good sign of the game's success in Japan. They don't take you to write a bi-weekly column on their biggest gaming publication if you ain't someone.

I still remember three years ago when they announced Yoshida would take the helm. It took me a good hour to even understand who he was

the game might not be dying, but fact is the way it goes in the upcoming months it will probably lose a good portion of it's players... warhammer online was also a popular game, had tons of players at start and its closing doors this year if it hasnt already... this just comes to show that one bad move can sink or even close an mmo ... id say FFXIV isnt a top tier MMO but isnt a low tier mmo... its an average Ok mmo, with lots of potential but some very bad implementations...... they need to start working hard on the potential of the game and stop making so many mistakes cause they've done quite a few already even if you disaggree.

still yoshi-p is to be thanked for, he put his hands on an awesomely bad mmo which was Final fantasy XIV and actually made it into a decent game that actually captivates players into playing it unlike its previous failed version ...
