I should have been more specific I'm sorry. A nice way for people AKA PS3 players ( not all have a PC at home) to get this turn down that can't communicate using TeamSpeak, Mumble, Skype, Vent or w/e.
Without some form of voice communication a lot of people have a hard time with passing rot. And using a keyboard is an option but its not as effective as voice chat.
Here's the thing it wont effect me if they changed it because up until yesterday I've always done passing the Rot method.
If SE changes his Enrage to instant wipe then they need to change the pulse waves in T4 after p6 to instant death to. Because its ok to heal through that phase in T4 but its not ok to heal through ADS Enrage......
Sorry but T4 is a gear check. T4 is trash compared to T2.

ADS in T2 would be a good fight if you could actually see worth a damn and get your camera angle right. The problem I have is that they put mechanics in like this with a crappy little room and terrible views. I don't know how anyone is able to see very good. I have done this several times and know my part and can survive...just cannot seem to put it together with the groups we have put together. If they wanted you to die on the enrage they would have by the way. Also I think it is very clever that someone tried this and it circumvented all the abilities...nice job!!!!
Server: BEHEMOTH
FC: CASCADIA
Playing since Beta phase 3
We do it with 3 healers, 2 tanks and 3 DPS. Cuz we rock! Just saying....

My deal with T2 is you can have 7 great players and one person who can't do Rot and the whole group wipes even after practice. They cannot grasp the concept, or can't multitask enough.
At that point, it's easier to just heal through the enrage instead of needlessly wiping due to one person. Yeah you could say just replace them, but why do that when there is an easier way to clear it? It's just like anything else. When you find an easier way of doing whatever it is you are doing, you typically stick with it.
At my work for example my boss showed me an easier way to do my paperwork that cuts the effort and time spent in half. So why would I keep doing the tougher convoluted way when I know how to do it the easy way? That's my logic anyway.

It's a pretty cheesy way to make an already easy fight even easier. I doubt SE will do anything about it since it's old news at this point but I'd be pretty funny to see the reaction on the forums if they did.
How is it even remotely feasible that turn 2 is easier than turn 1?
Seriously? The other say I did this with 2 DPS in friggen artifact gear. Yes they died halfway through the enrage just because they didn't have the HP but now it seems like AF is acceptable in t2 now. Buy your Titan win. Skip t1 do turn2. That's what I'm seeing. Carry carry carry.
Bcob is THE end game. You should be geared. In at least full darklight. And now with tc some 80 gear. Lvl 50 gear is unacceptable. Period. Yet they can still pass it. Because this strat.
Again just think these people are on t4 and causing you to wipe it now. Because they aren't geared and don't give a damn about actually learning to play. They "just want the loot"
I keep expecting them to patch this, but they never do...
So, its a legit tactic unless they say otherwise.
Theoretically, you can get 5 pieces of BiS loot every week.
2 chests in T1 and 2 chests in T2 plus your normal myth hand-ins, totalling 5 pieces a week. Not a bad thing in my opinion but whether you can actually get loots is another story, so I don't really see what's the problem, particularly when most people complain how many people are under geared for most contents (including QQ'ing about lack of gear in WP... geez)
Yoshida did say the whole population of FF14 has around 50% of people having not a single piece of Dark Light gear, this strategy helps improve that %.
