I'm not a miqote by choice, all the other options are inferior so I have no choice but to pick the master race.

Ok then, it's cheap. You're totally right! Removing easily handled fight mechanics that require a little bit of communication to bypass totally isn't cheap!
Oh wait, doing something to make anything with a slight amount of difficulty into a braindead easy snorefest is the very definition of cheap in video games.
I don't care if people do it, just don't pretend it isn't cheap. Like I said, that's the only thing it definitely is.
People getting offended by "easy handled mechanics" being skipped, is just...

I have done both methods several times. The only issue I have with this is the large number of groups doing it and locking out more healers than any other job. There are a bunch of tanks left on Sunday stuck at T2 because this method only requires 1. Given the LB Nerf to parties not inviting every class I could see them nerfing this for the reason I mentioned.
Sounds like you're running with jerks. My static was missing people on Monday and so we pugged a few and did Turn 2 (with two tanks and three healers, no less!) with the enrage strat. It was crazy (and kind of fun). The third healer was our DRG who went WHM to help with the healing, and we passed on the DRG piece that dropped.I rotate in and out of my static group. On the weeks I'm not running with them, I like to PuG or sub in for other peoples statics. I hate this new trend because every PuG wants three healers and one tank for T2 now. That means three healers have to fight over loot while the tank gets to hog all the gear that drops for himself. Regardless if people need gear or not, I find it selfish of the tank. Just my opinion. I hope they patch this soon.
Pretty much how my group does it. I go WHM for turn 2 instead of monk and I pass on any healer gear as well since I don't need it for later turns, and they pass on monk gear that drops. In terms of the fight mechanics, I don't even find this method THAT much easier since my group one shots it with the intended methods anyway. Arguably the burn method takes longer if your group is competent because you have to wait out the timer.Sounds like you're running with jerks. All this talk of "cheap" reminded me of sirlin's definition of scrub.
So i will assume, and I know I will not receive a reply like a post before me, nor will the op respond, I shall assume everyone who thinks it's cheap never did a speed run ever? Or are u a hypocrite?
Or used the guns to kill the last 3 giants in CM.
Or got help with their relic quest from their FC.
Or got carried through (or bought) Titan HM.
Or those who watch videos of dungeons before running them.
Or FATE spammed.
Speed runs are a bit cheap, doesn't mean I've never done one.. sometimes it's nice to not take as much time. I just call it like it is, not saying that people can't/shouldn't do it until it's fixed.
Cheap is a stupid word that is used as a joke now in competitive gaming. Anyone who uses that word seriously is usually a scrub. Although in a PvE game you have to ask, what are you in it for? The destination or the journey, I for one had beat T2 normally and felt rewarded, after trying it enraged I still received the loot but did not walk away fulfilled.
