I am pretty sure using a method to take down a boss that requires at least twice as much time would be a noob method.
I don't care if people use it... its like buying titan runs. Only hurts them and in no way hurts me.

I'm not a pissed off person by any means, and I don't really care how other people down bosses (I even said above we had used the strategy). I'm not going to pretend that disabling all of a bosses abilities, however you do it, and thus taking away any semblance of difficulty from the fight isn't cheap though. Kudos to the group that found out that strategy, they're the ones that pushed the game further (or fell across it by happenstance).. everyone else just followed suit. That takes no thought or skill.
Waiting for the enrage on ADS is the same thing to me as the healer jumping into the tree for the first boss in AK so no one had to deal with adds. I would venture a guess that SE is going to "fix" the enrage so that it actually kills the party at some point. Previous fixes point to SE wanting people to actually go through mechanics, and also only really came after a particular "exploit" (I know people are going to argue about what an exploit is, which is why it's in quotations) became popular did it ever get fixed.

I am talking about its aesthetics. You can make a fight complex like heroic Ragnaros, if it doesn't looks cool, it's worthless to me.
Hard enrages deal over 11000 damage in one blow. From Hellfire to Earthen Fury. This is a soft enrage. You will wipe if it goes long enough. It's a hard enrage, and since the inception of such mechanics, they have been designed to be nigh impossible to pass. This enrage though, in all of it's inept glory, doesn't follow suit, making it not an enrage at all, but a free pass instead. This in itself makes doing the fight that way "cheap" because you are bypassing the mechanics of the normal fight.
Do the fight however you want, but don't try to claim that it isn't cheap. That's one thing that it definitely is.
People got enough gear to finish the fight before they wipe. Not sure what's so cheap about it.
It's not like touching 1, waiting a few seconds then touching 3 marks the line between a good and a bad player.

Why ? This strat was possible in the very first days of the 2.0 patch, and I know some players used it fairly soon because it was an easier way to go to T4 and to practice there. Don't worry, the devs KNOW that this strat exists. If they didn't change it yet, they probably won't.
Why are people raging about people getting their play easier ? geez
I just dislike Turn 2.
Not because of difficulty, or because it's rare to get a PUG where everyone can pass rot (which it is), but just because I dislike the Turn. If I can get through it quickly and painlessly I will, and I don't care if anyone tells me I 'shouldn't' be doing it this way. To those people I just say: "How does it affect you, exactly?"
I don't really care if people cheapen the fight but clearly a lot of people have invested a lot in this strat and the qq threads would be fun to read if they broke it.
Besides this is the sort of thing se has a history of fixing.
Enrage method works wonders for people that are "lucky" enough to have borderline unplayable positioning lag regardless of whether they do or do not use the VPN services. Like, you know, a number of people across the freaking Atlantic from where the "EU" servers are. If I'll ever have to choose between interesting fight mechanics that randomly kill several players on my group regardless of how good they are and a dumb workaround that can be used under any network conditions I'll go for the latter any day.
Wait, what? What strat? I never knew this kind of thing existed.
Kidding aside, it doesn't matter really, other people prefer this because it's easier for them not to dodge Allagan Rot while just YOLO-ing everything in this tactic.
My static does it the non enrage way. But I went with a PUG today and they did the enrage and I have to say that it seems harder.

People who say that are being elitist douches that can't congratulate people doing things their own way. Who cares about how others play ? It doesn't mean they become suddely able to down twintania as easily. Let them act as they want, they did not break the game.. Or if they did, the enraged solo tank/heal Caduceus is also game breaking and the greatest tanking performance I've seen so far becomes a bannable offense. How rude
